Only Seifer Almasy is more useless; at least Seymour has cool hair. Struggling with him, eh?? You're just not putting the work in folks!! 😉 And, aye, Liquid and Vergil arn't ALLOWED to die; they are the equal, opposite Integers of Solid and Dante. Two Halfs of the same Whole. Virgil is my favorite so I'm glad he keeps returning. The Guardian Ape from Sekiro deserves a mention. You behead him and he get's back up for round 2, you beat him again then he returns later with friend.

I wouldn't say Vergil fits on this list, as I for one always like seeing more Vergil personally. Two bosses I wish would absolutely die and stop coming back though Warden Eternal, or maybe Sister Friede.

Jack Baker shoot’s himself, Ethan doesn’t do it like the video says. He evens says that Ethan is about to see something “wonderful” before pulling the trigger.

Nemesis from Resident Evil 3, esp. the original. He gets shot tons of times, blown up in a restaurant, hit by a grenade and thrown out of a train, thrown off a clock tower or electrocuted, shot a bunch more and hit with more explosives, still comes back and shot, showered with acid and shot a bunch more, drowned in acid, then hit with a railgun, and since he still doesn't die he needs to be finished off by unloading a magnum point black. That's a LOT of punishment.

Ridley’s return is pretty much assured. Not in Metroid Fusion and Dread! In Fusion, Neo Ridley is just an X Parasite mimicking him, and in Dread, Ridley STAYS dead!

Seymour Flux wasn't bad *if* you kept your summons charged up for difficult bosses like this one. Then, even if you haven't been grinding, four summons will finish him off just fine.

I would add Luca Blight to this list. He is just a normal human. It took being lead into a massive kill zone of archers (getting shot with arrows many times), fighting off three groups of six of your strongest characters, AND a duel with the main character for him to finally fall, not before him bragging about how he is the true face of evil. (He is really one of the most underrated video game villains of all time)

How the hell is Xehanort from Kingdom Hearts not the top spot list!?!? I’m 99% sure you fight SOME FORM OF XENAHORT across the ENTIRE DARK SEEKER SAGA AT LEAST 23 DIFFERENT TIMES!!! Mind you, while 13 of those fights aren’t ACTUALLY AGAINST HIM, due to a technicality in the story, those 13 fights actually count. That number is WITHOUT ReMind or Melody of Memory BTW, and given how the former adds 13 MORE BOSS FIGHTS AGAINST A BOSS THAT’S PART XEHANORT, that old fart beats Virgil BY A FUCKING LANDSLIDE!!!!!!!

Jenova in FF7 Rebirth. I did manage to learn the fight patterns enough to whittle all but the last phase down to about a half hour of completion time but that final fight against her as she looks like Sephiroth...oh my god. That last 30 seconds can go straight to hell! And you're not even given the ability to change your item loadout at that fight (unlike in Remake), so if you find that something with Cloud and Aerith isn't getting the job done, you can't switch your materia or weapons. You would need to start the entire series of fights all over again. But this wasn't even the issue for me, except once (I did have to fully restart. Hence learning how to get through each phase pretty decently, even if I have to go slow at times to conserve MP or heals). My issue is Sephiroth's "The end is nigh..." attack. Where you have about 30 seconds to finish him off. If you had a summon on the field before that attack was launched, it's cancelled out. You can't hit summons during the final moments, either. You're being buffeted by intense winds that do a lot of damage and make the battlefield very confusing and makes it hard to gain ATB. By the time I'd lost about twenty times to "Sephiroth", I was just...so effing done with Rebirth. I turned the game to easy mode and managed to beat him first try. Pathetic. I finished the game over a month ago and haven't touched it since. I eventually will, now that I've seen the ending, but I have never been so exhausted by a game before.

Gotta include Genesial Demiourgos from trails into reverie in this list. 3 phase fight with a new health bar for each phase with massive health pool and a cheap tactic that could potentially get 10+ moves in a row. May not be the most well known series but it's an all time great series from falcom

Ridley actually only directly killed Samus' mother as her father made a heroic sacrifice to kill the Space Pirates by shooting at the starship fuel the Space Pirates were after which inadvertently saved Samus from Ridley who having been caught in the explosion used his ability to feed off cells of the dead to restore himself & after Mother Brain (the main computer used by the Chozo when they lived on Zebes) betrayed the Chozo to become the leader of the Space Pirates, Ridley reveled in taughting Samus by stating he may have consumed her mother's cells! Ironically the young Samus had mistakenly tried to befriend Ridley (she had previously befriended the Chozo Old Bird whom she was initially frightened of due to his appearance) who was momentarily taken aback by Samus' innocence before attacking her with his fire breath though she was saved by her mother who shielded Samus with her body! This is partially why, in Other M, Samus briefly has a PTSD flashback to her childhood! Unfortunately, this information all comes from the Zero Mission manga, which details Samus' early life & adoption by the Chozo, which the games have only lightly touched upon!

Dr Robotnik/Eggman You fight him in space (Sonic 2 3K, Advance 1), blow him up & somehow he's coming back 😂

All these comments and not a single one for your rival from Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor? He comes back like 5 times and each time with another buff to keep you from being able to "kill" him like the last time. Assassinate him? Now he's immune to sneak attacks. Kill him with a bow headshot? Helmet. Burn him? He's now covered in scars and immune to fire damage. Kill him with a caragor? He comes back able to counter them and do extreme damage. He's basically a recurring mid-boss that loves to show up at just the wrong time.

I don't know why but when I played FFX for the first time I thought Seymour's stomach looked like he was pregnant?! Is Tromell the father?!

Clearly that's where Liquid went wrong, his helicopter should have been firing rockets instead of firing bazookas! Also it's not ironic that Liquid is defeated by his own body. It is however ironic that he was killed because of the very genes that have become the focus of his life.

Seymour was so annoying, just like the FF 9 villian always coming back everytime we best them! Vergil though is a badass and I love his character so I'm not sick of him yet!

How was Nephtis from Zone of the Enders Second Runner not on this list?!? She constantly stalks the player and actually says "Nephtis never dies" in one of her custom game over screens.

Yeah nah you don’t have to grind like crazy to beat Seymour. You really don’t need to do that much grinding to be strong enough to beat him.

Nyx was easy to figure out after you saw the 3rd Arcana card in a row. I just buckled up and wrecked him in like half an hour tops

I fought sigma off and on for 10 years before finally beating him in megaman x he was significantly easier in x2 and beyond.

I think Ridley is gone for good now. His body is destroyed in Super (though the clone in Other M exists I guess) and then his only remnants remain as an X parasite you put down in Fusion. We shall see

Y'all chose to show the twin snakes vs the og PS version really that version of MGS was flawed in so many ways and failed to understand what made MGS good in the first place. Gray Fox having a stupid voice change making him sound like some average joe you work with at the office vs the rough tortured soul that was the original. Showing the scene of Fox taking out the soldiers vs you coming into the hall and being caught off guard by all the already dead bodies, again failing to understand story structure and character building. Honestly the og MGS will always be better than the twin snakes version and that's a rock fact.
