10 Video Game Levels You KNEW Were Going To End Terribly 

What remains of Edith Finch is one of the most impactful games I've played. Anyone that hasn't played it should.

If you ever do a commenter edition: Dragon Age Origins; Orzhamar. You're choosing the next king of Orzhamar. And the more you dig into both parties, the more you realize that no matter what you do, the person you put on the throne is going to come with some serious issues. So it's pretty much certain that no matter what, it won't end well, and it doesn't disappoint. Go with Harrowmount, and Bahlen tries to take the throne by force, then Orzhamar is left in an arguably pretty sorry state by weak leadership after the blight is over. However go with Bahlen, and he promptly executes Harrowmount, and pretty much pulls a Palpatine in the end, yet it's arguable that Orzhamar is massively better off despite those issues. Add in a long list of not so great things you have to, or can depending on choices, deal with along the way, and the more you go through this section, the more it's clear that no matter what choices you go with, it ain't gonna end well.

I would argue that the mannequin in The Shadows of Rose DLC (RE Village) Is much creepier than the baby thing. It's also in House Beneviento

I feel the bath scene in what remains of Edith finch is much more heart breaking. Like everything around it feels okay but the dread of knowing you can’t do a damn thing hurts more especially if you’re a parent

I would argue that the child death was by far the saddest in Edith finch, coming from a father who lost a child I guess I’m affected more than most

The cyberpunk one hits hard i played a netruner contagen build pre patch so i basically walked through a tomb my first play through

I gave the Dung Eater the Mind Control Potion to make him a puppet so I could use him as a summon. I do not regret releasing him for now we defile the bosses "TOGETHAH."

Apollo Justice:Ace Attorney Phoenix Wright’s Final Trial immediately springs to mind. (Though not so final anymore now thanks to the idiots who wrote Dual Destinies) Just that description alone is enough to tell you things will end badly. But the game then proceeds to give you the fateful piece of evidence that will end his career right at the start. You already know this because it was described by a witness right before the flashback started. Throughout the case you’re going through the usual routine of cross examination and logical deduction but at the back of your mind, you know what’s coming. Eventually you’re backed into a corner with no choice but to bring out the evidence. And everything comes crashing down thanks to a broken legal system. But that’s what makes it all the more satisfying when Phoenix is the one who fixes the problem with the system seven years later. Ultimately breaking the very man who ruined his career. (Then some moronic writers decided to pretend that fix never happened one game later. But that’s another story.)
