US Open is the most successful GS for Rafa after RG, he's a 4-time champ, he beat the best hard court player in the last 10 years, Djokovic, twice in the final, he beat the 2009 champ del Potro and the 2-time GS finalist Anderson (who beat Federer at Wimbledon one year later) and last year he beat the best Next Gen player, Medvedev who beat Djokovic 3 times and won the ATP finals without losing a match... Some people still call Rafa a one dimensional player although he's the only one who holds multiple GS on every surface 👌😂 That 2019 final was insane 😻

The point Rafa vs Khachanov in the US Open...I was in the Arthur Ashe that day, I watched that point life over there. It was a worderful day, after that match, I watched S. Williams vs V. Williams and Del Potro vs Verdasco. And someting else, I had the priviledge to shake hands with the legend Manolo Santana. I´d never forget that day...

I rarely ask for men’s matches but do you guys have any of the 🇨🇦 guys from this year? Denis, Felix, Vasek vs Milos perhaps? Or even Vasek vs RBA? Also, Federer-Dimitrov from last year would be cool.

i feel like many people really forget how great prime nadal was.His ability to extend points, defend from the beginning to the end of any match, getting even better as the match went on, and his unorthodox hyper topspin that really took opposing players out of their element. Whatever stats you want to bring to compare him now to what he was then; shot speed, etc., him now is till not close to what he was then. He doesn't have that superhuman stamina and endurance to hit those shots consistently anymore, not to say it isn't still world class, and its just the unfortunate reality of aging. His playstyle is more similar to his peers now and that has hurt him against the top players and his greatest rivals since they can match him in those areas. It's truly a shame because 2015 showed he can't play his old style anymore, but what he was then is still the greatest player to have ever lived, imo.

Just to think if it wasn’t for the chronic foot condition there would not have been a decrease in his speed, nor ability to go into long rallies on hard courts. Novak has benefited greatly from the injuries of rafa when it comes to hard court. The injuries have forced Rafa to change his playing style. So it’s more emphasis on the serve and shorter rallies. Tho it’s effective on other opponents it is harder against Novak. Honestly if it wasn’t for the injuries there would be no change in Rafa playing style and the hardcourt victories towards novak would be a lot closer to novak.
