I was going to get a dog yesterday..my mom showed me pictures and everything and we even went to the shelter to get him.. but now today 11/27 my mom in the morning said “no I don’t think I a dog is a good idea would u want to walk him in the morning if he starts to cry” I said yes but she said we aren’t going to get one.. I want a dog soooo bad! My parents say I am not responsible enough for a puppy. Yesterday I was at my dance class and when I was returning home I saw a huge wall of cages with puppies inside! I had to see them. I saw them and called my mom on my phone. She said she was coming. When she came I could tell she liked them but she still said no. My parents said we will buy a puppy but i was really sad cuz the next day my dad searched the cost of my favorite dog but...it cost 1000+ and i was like..."Can we just buy another dog breed? I'm so depressed right now, I've already told my parents 1000 times I need someone to love (a pet) my mom is easy to convince, but my dad, oh Lord. Every time I mention the word "dog" in a conversation, he either walks away or yells at me. Most people don't want or don't like the idea of getting adopted, but in this case, I'd do ANYTHING for a dog.

I have a problem with the Christmas one... You want to be able to pick out your own dog, instead of getting one that you might not actually like! Dogs are for life, not just for christmas and they need a good home. There are so many cases of abandoned dogs that were gotten as christmas presents. Also, please adopt a dog from a shelter. There are so many dogs that need loving homes and families. Please don't put "puppy" on your Christmas list, but if you do say that you'd like to pick it out as a family.

I remember watching these types of videos. I got my dog 2 years ago. For people wanting dogs sometimes your are just parents are waiting for you to get a little older so they know that you will be old enough to take proper care of the dog.

7 years ago our neighbor's dog was having puppies. So my sisters and I would always go over and play with them. Eventually we convinced our parents to go look at them. Our mom had her foot down but when our dad saw them he turned to a big softy and that's how we got our dog. 😊

I've been asking for a cat or puppy since I've been 10 and now I'm almost 21 and still haven't got neither. Idea was around a lot, but only got rodents as compensation here and there. Good luck, though. Gonna get a kitten myself next year though, which I'll pay and care for myself.

Despite how TERRIBLE your grammar is, dogs benefit you more than cats. Sure, cats are independent and you wont have to do much for them except feed them and give them occasional attention, dogs teach you responsibility because theyre pack animals and depend on you, studies also show dogs love you more than cats do. Dont hate me for my opinion but get a dog, that way you won't have to call the fire fighters when your cat gets stuck on a tree..

Pot Muring despite how you don't know that some people can't be with their pets for long periods of times, cats are the best way to go. They may not make you get on your feet, but they are great for independency, and especially for people who work and don't really have the time to give their pets 24/7 attention.
