Do you mean the Clips app from Apple for iOS? No, you don't need it. It is just another tool.

@@macmost i was talking about physical dirt form. Also please mention what we should do and not do while cleaning the mac. Please essentially include key board and display cleaning because that is what needed most.

Vertical or "portrait" video should be banned by the UN. No self-respecting photographer or videographer should be doing it. It cuts out so much of the scene being shot especially when they pan the camera. For this reason I avoid the so-called "shorts" on social media like the plague.

I kinda agree. But when the mistake has already been made, and you need to do your best with what you have, then I hope someone finds these techniques useful.

I feel that shooting in portrait mode is absolutely necessary in certain situations. As an example, when shooting video indoors in small spaces, shooting in the portrait mode enables me to capture more of the details required for the particular scene. Generally I shoot in the landscape mode most of the time, but, when NEEDED, I gladly use the portrait mode. Regarding the other matter of shorts, I agree with you 100%. RU-vid should allow for uploading shorts of videos made in the landscape mode too.

I am baffled as to why people use their phones in portrait mode when they are videoing or photographing scenes. Maybe the camera app should open with a "do you really want to shoot in portrait" warning!
