I couldn't choose a favourite if asked. The cards are all lovely. I've seen the scrapbook tape used in this way before and your embossing powder is so beautiful. I will now definitely try it. Thank you, Justine. ❤️🇨🇦❤️
Great tips, thank you. I take ages making cards, and constantly faff around before running out of time and going out and buying one! I have one to make for Thursday, with your tips I could get it done this afternoon.
I love all of these cards and like some of the others I tend to overthink what I am doing and get so frustrated when it doesn't work out but these are basic and gorgeous!
Hey, Justine! What a TERRIFIC VIDEO! So very helpful! I LOVE the ease of making the cards to have on hand, and realized I already have some of the items in my stamping arsenal!! There were, tho’, a few that I hadn’t seen before so was happy for that, too! I really like the sentiment in the last card shown w/the rose floral image n’ “smile” sentiment~~~where are those from?? BTW, I DO like the EP w/the glitter incorporated, too, as it gives such a pretty effect! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! ALWAYS enjoy your videos! :-))
Here's hoping I find one of your other videos showing the 'die cutting process'. Would be cool to get my name and address or initials on a stamp that I can use with the embossing. Would make great stationery!
This is a FAB video. Sooo full of GREAT ideas. I need to get back my mojo and these vids making quick cards, but with many techniques are the best ways to do that. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hi Justine, I just found ur channel again?!! Lol! Such a great videos with so many great ideas! I have a QUESTION! What stamp set did u use for the Mother’s Day greeting? Thank you so much! Liz Cape Cod Ma😊💗👍🏼
Justine, this video is by far THE best video on cardmaking. I'm teaching myself cardmaking and I watch many, many videos daily on this subject but your video is the most informative and easy to understand from measuring out the size of cardstock to actually making easy cards. You gave me the confidence I need to get me started and I'm forever grateful. I will refer back to this video from time to time to follow these instructions. A BIG THANK YOU! ; )
I like the large sentiment/greeting - I don’t have any that big, but will be definitely getting some soon! Thanks for the great video. Excellent ideas all around!
Great ideas - but if anyone could suggest a paper trimmer which cuts straight I’d be very grateful. Fiskars, X-Cut and Tonic Studios can’t seem to manage it. I’ve just been avoiding crafting because I always seem to go wrong.
Thank you for this tutorial, as a card maker, I tend to over come think each card and spend way to much time on every one that I make. This will really help me on the days I need a quick card or a pack of cards as a gift. Tfs. Blessings!
Wow! Absolutely adorable quick and doable cards. Sometimes we tend to overthink these cards, this was a good reminder of less can be just as beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Big thumbs up. 😊
Hi Justine, I am one of your students in your new class, which I adore, and I want to say that this video will be, for me anyway, my go to video when I will have to make a card last minute! They are really simple cards but they are especially gorgeous!!! If I can create cards like those I would be so proud of myself. So you can be sure that I will try to make more simple cards, but with that punch you added on each card in a different way each time. Thank you so much for sharing your awesome talent! And I can’t wait to see your next « technique ressource binder » class.
Hi Justine: I really enjoyed your video! I like the way you explained everything!! I new at making cards, I've made 2 that's how new I am lol. I have a question, what paper trimmer where you using? I've seen a lot of them. I like that the one you have also scores. Could you please tell me what brand it is? Thank you for sharing your tips! Sandra
They just retired the one I use actually. But my second choice is the Fiskars one with the wire. If the wire happens to break, Fiskars will replace it no matter how old the trimmer is
Thanks for sharing these techniques that can speed up production. I like the watercolor background card and the stamped divided border with sentiment in the middle card.
Hi Justine 👋 loved your video tutorial loved (all the cards u made) I found that u explained really good and gave very helpful tips thank you so much have a nice week Lin in South Wales uk 🦋 💞
I like both. I prefer the glass mat but I hate filming on it because of the reflection. It lasts way longer than a self healing. Or at least it stays nicer looking. And it’s raised so I find my mess builds around it rather than directly on the surface. But a self healing mat works just as well, it may not be able to be cleaned though after using certain materials.
Thanks for these simple tips! I tend to overthink the process... and then fizzle out on my card making. I'll be coming back to this video next time I make cards.
Yes! So helpful to prepare a little at a time!! (I have a playlist of 10 minute snippets of creativity! .) That chunky embossing powder reminds me of the rock art (after melting) we did in the late 60's!
