In Bloodshot Ramparts, I was once knocked off the top of the dam and landed on a ledge with a red chest. No way OFF the ledge, mind you. I guess the red chest was the game's way of saying, "sorry, dude."

The amount of stuff that is reused in borderlands is amazing. The programmers were so creative with ways to reduce the amount of entities needed, and things like that make the game truly incredible.
I have a theory on the jasper one, maybe the reason those strange collision boxes show up is because he has special shoulder cannons that are special to him but gearbox just didn't expect players to come back to him when your super omega op and one shot him
We all know it now but yeah. Davlin helps you out at first until it is revealed he is the Handsome Sorcerer in disguise. When looking very close you see him wearing the Handsome Jack class mod. 🤯🤯🤯
Not sure how to explain it, but when you're doing the mission Hunting the Firehawk and you finish up killing all the enemies at the end and return the mission to Lilith (we all know it), then there's the part where Lilith wants to teleport you to the Bloodshot Stronghold. Like Joltz, I also like to jump off of the rope with perfect timing, so that I will be teleported before I die, but one time I mistimed it and died - but somehow the teleport triggered and I got respawned (reconstruct animation) on the spot where Lilith teleports you (instead of respawning on the respawn point normally). So yeah, that is indeed possible; even after seeing I believe all Joltz's playthroughs, I think I've never seen this happen to Joltz.
1:23 My first time playing uvhm, i hit that timer while fighting a SINGLE SCAVENGER in Flynt's arena. I died over and over, Flynt respawned, and I gave up.
How about the floating checkered platform underneath Roland’s jail cell in Bloodshot Stronghold? I know there’s a wall you can just walkthrough and fall onto the floating platform.
You probably didn’t know you can get so far out of bounds in the Southern Raceway that you cannot be seen on the minimap and are over 1-2 km from the boundaries of the map…with mods you could call a car out there and roll around massive areas
Petition for an Ultimate Zer0 playthrough soon- the last time I found that Joltz did a non-challenge run Zer0 was 6 years ago. Since then we’ve had pistol zero, jakobs zero, sniper zer0, melee zer0, maliwan zero, and even a couple modded zeros- but no Ultimate.
When on the Talon of God mission where you get blues from different NPCs, tipping Moxxi enough to get the good/bad touch before talking to her gives you extra blue SMGs (easily testable with a level 30 boosted character)
Did you know that the gravestones at Boot Hill, where you fight Mobley and Gettle, are randomized on load? they are different shapes and sizes and are in different combinations every time you load into the map. Noticed this while farming Lyuda. Edit: I also recall seeing a video claim that you can B0re them though I have not tried that myself.
Every one of your videos, I discover something new, ive watched your videos and played bl2 for years now and im still learning. I think you are the person that knows the most about bl2.
I wonder if the ‘use’ feature on the loudspeakers in Lynchwood means maybe there’s a special status or feature they gave to objects that are meant to play sound (as they periodically play voice lines from the Sheriff or Deputy), just as with certain other objects in the game (such as the radio in Sanctuary that sometimes plays manufacturer ads) so that the sound will only come from that object, and doing so also happened to make them all interact-able (because things like the radio you can ‘use’ to turn them off).
on fact 2, not just raid bosses but normal bosses too!, was in a co-op game back in 2022 with a friend and we would go from uranus, run to different areas to farm and fight other bosses! every 30ish mins they would come back so we never had to really save quit and we got to farm a ton of things in a row.
You can get into permenent buzzaxe mode, if you kill a enemy with a axe that is thrown before you get into fight for your life. If you kill him after you get into fight for your life, then you shouldget back up and be running with your axe. If you get knocked down or save quit, you will have your guns again. (I cant remember if you lose the effekt if you go into your inventory it is a long time ago i did this glich) Dunno if you have made a video on this.
I learned that my son is now 14yrs old and he was born 1 month before borderlands released and i got to know you. After all these crazy years you still make borderlands videos 😮
the mimics in the dragon raid boss area if u have one of them spawned and then leave the map, they go to lvl 1 like a loot midget if u leave and come back
There's a thing similar to the Dokino one in Borderlands 3. If you do the first two homestead missions in Splinterlands and then go to Trashlantis, you'll note that The Mayor has that yellow exclamation point. It's also basegame mark instead of the DLC-mark, which is surrounded by a diamond.
I think the reason pete respawns when other raid bosses don't is because he's a story boss, you fight a non raid boss variant of him first. The game probably then changes him to the raid boss variant when you do the quest for it. The devs may have used existing code from an enemy that upgrades itself like a goliath to do this and part of that may have given him a respawn time
@joltz if you end your nvhm/tvhm or whatever mode in Oasis, save quit and then switch to the next possible mode, you will spawn in Oasis and can travel to claptrap’s place. He will then be not in the first map anymore, just after you killed knuckledrager and leave the aera to the next. Might be a small gamechanger for speedrunning bl2
Lol I accidentally figured out that in the Clan War mission where you blow up the race cars, you can destroy them before they come to you, even though they show a green symbol as if they’re friendly
when you fight the warrior in the story mission you can do the moonshot farm without having read only on if you save quit upon the warrior dying you also get the xp from the kill but you can still moonshot upon reloading

I discovered a glitch where you can turn in Tiny Tina's party prep mission infinitely. You need to start party prep but not complete it, then go and do all of Lillith's missions in the tundra express and turn them in to Tina. When you complete party prep and to turn it in, it won't clear. I use the community patch by the way.
I have been binge watching all of your BL 1 run vids and am having a blast, literally as right now I'm on your launchers only Brick, and have heard you mention the Redemption several times throughout it so far, on episode 6 btw, I went into Knoxx's armory and the second red chest i opened was a deep orange Redemption X'D
Joltz did you know that the place in the background when you just start the game the place where claptrap just walking around there is a river a wanted board on the bounty board there is jack that place is behind the wildlife preservation on the mountain
I found an out of bounds location with just one grenade jump on the friendship gulag looks like there’s stuff to be found under there too but since I’m on console I had no way of really getting under without clipping through :(
Interesting, once based on Presequel would be interesting. Unpopular opinion, I personally find Presequel to be the best game out of the main 3 BUT the original tales from the borderlands is by far the best borderlands game
Yo Jolts, i recently encountered strange thing in BL2: After i teleported to Wildlife Preservation, right behiend me spawned 2 lvl small loot jet loader (at this time i was 22lvl salvador). Donno why this happened, never seen smth like that. May be you know what happened? Or may be someone encountered this strange thing too...
Omg it’s back, i literally started watching your channel because of this series. My comment is the boards in the tiny Tina campaign are similar to plank from ed Edd and eddy.
The only one I knew was the last one and that was due to the fact that you showed it off in an earlier playthrough. I don't remember which playthrough it was, but I remember you showing it off.
Here is a cool fact: After leaving the fridge and going to sanctuary when it teleports, you can go across the bridge by going to the highlands and entering on the other side where you would normally exit after fighting the thresher. :)
One thing I have never seen anyone talk about, during buzz axe rampage you can drop Krieg's Axe and pick it back up outside of the rampage. Who said Borderlands didn't have melee weapons!?
I'm half surprised that people don't know about that Krieg trick. It seems really obvious. But, again, only half surprised, because no one plays Krieg.
