Hey Solon, love the Willy’s video. My wifie of 38 yrs drives a Black 2013 Rubicon Unlimited, it’s a love / hate relationship. She laughed with your “ Dream car “ comment and whispered to me that “ My dream car is Her nightmare” LOL. Be blesses my friend.
Gotta love the Willys. Being born and raised in Toledo Ohio (where they were built) I’ll always have a place in my heart for them. BTW. I didn’t forget. 67.
Thanks once again for going over the top to make a ton of guyS and maybe even some gals a bunch of 4x4 die hard jeep freaks a bunch of happy campers with this one / and MAY GOD ALL MIGHTY BLESS YOU AND YOURS
Sorry missed the Premiere…interesting collection of Willys. 67 I’d love to see some Jeep J-10 and Comanche pickups. And more $2G, $3G and under $5G collections too. Great series, can’t wait for the collection of viewers that bought something you showcased! Also on Fridays join us all at BW’s Garage channel at 8:30pm EST it’s an hour long Car and Truck and Part and Project Chat that if you released the premieres of your episodes starting at 9:30pm EST I think it would spill a lot more viewers over after his show. Stay Cool
The first car to have a padded dash was the 47 Tucker Sedan. The idea behind it was to keep the sun glare off the driver and to help keep the interior cooler while driving. My favorite one from the video was the 49 Jeepster, I've always wanted to build one into a roadster street truck.
My Dad had one in 52. I had a Henry J, not sure y'all know they used the same frame, rear end and engine as the Willy's Jeep. I left it stock, I'd built a couple motors for it but always put them in race cars because I just liked that Henry J Stock, it was fun to drive on back or rough roads.
For me, that very first Willy's green and white pickup was my favorite. It was all original and looked great! I've always wanted a Willy's pickup but I've never been able to afford one. I also liked that flat black panel wagon but without a title I'd never even consider it. Even for the asking price of $5400.00. Here in Illinois it's a huge pain in the neck to try and apply for a lost title.
:-(67, I have a sad story for y all. We restored my bosses 55 willys, pick up truck the one that he learned to drive in. We did everything to it. Upholstery, paint engine, beautiful. We are wheat farmers and a inexperienced driver pulled over the stubble and burned up not one thing salvaged, so sad. He wept!
Solon,, If someone say SBC in their ad it means Small Block Chevy engine,, when you say short block chevy the means a Chrvy block engine without any part,, just a block
Yeah that was a slip of the tongue while reading my script during taping the audio. I did not catch it until the video had premiered. I will usually have one flub dub every video just because the entire creation time to create a video is about eight hours. that was a good catch on your part, I appreciate it, thanks for being a viewer!
This was so good i will have to play it over a few more times / PS I checked in 25 minutes before it was time to start / well it was the longest 25 minutes i ever spent / it felt like over a hour HA HA / Must be some kid left in this old man of 70 / love your channel , it's so good there is a bunch of copy cats out there / just trying to make a fast buck but there heart is not in it / so they won't last / they not GOD fearing they are in it only for the love of money / keep the FAITH brother JESUS SAVES so there is still hope for them, if they look / i wish every one would look and find HIM
I like the willys Jeepster, But why do people think, not painting looks good, They went that far, But no Body Prep,People that doe,s not know how to do Body work and Paint, Had better get out there Pocket book, someone will charge 10 -15 thousand to paint, Just dont make since.
Yeah, I also wondered why he took all the time and effort and stopped at painting the body but, Maybe he needed the money for an emergency or something? Thanks for being a viewer!
