Karin actually does have an infinite, if you are fast enough you can infinite loop the down combo. After the cutscene you spam the combo button and you can potentially pick the person back up before they hit the ground
@@StarZerotachi only after you land after the bounce. Before the opponent lands, she can continue the loop. You just need to be able to mash attack as fast as turbo controllers, lol
@@silentdenizen6903 you can recover that too because you can bounce higher when you get that off usually, idk what causes it though but i think its cause of how the chakra orbs work in this game causes funky mechanics like that to happen
Tobi is really underrated, good luck landing anything on him when he spams special jutsu + guard attack that goes under ground, its really hard to land a hit on a good tobi player, and in his awakening he can perma dodged and teleport + spam fire balls, he is my top 3 strongest characters in the game you just have to learn how to use him properly
If, as tobi, you directional jump and press triangle/Y like you are charging your chakra midair: as you begin to descend from the moving jump, you will regain height and glide a little like a real flying squirrel. As tobi holds his akatsuki cloak to make it into an almost-wingsuit. Lot of people dont know that. Also if you stop pressing circle/B on the 4th hit of the up or down combo (cant remember which), tobi will do a hulk hogan pose.
I think PTS Tenten is very slept on. She has fast attacks, her special is good, fast and can wall you out. She can spam shirukens and her grab is very good and has more range than it looks. It send you up and can combo into shirukens or even her secret special. She can also combo her upward combo into her secret special attack.
Tenten was a monster and they just nerf her. They were confused at all. They just over nerfed her and didn’t care. Also kiddomaru isn’t bad. Just need the right sup.
Honestly all these characters are great. I think your sticking to only one play style. Which is what most players do, each character has their own weaknesses but if you play at their strengths they are as strong as any A or S rank characters.
So the thing about puppet masters is that they have alot of chain and poke mechanics that get around the fact that some characters can counterplay them. Even without supports puppets can play decently well even at high level when you trying to keep them at bay, kankuro is pretty destructive due to him having the best air combo in the game as well as the most consistent puppet in the game, but then chiyo has one of thee best awakenings in the game as well as being the best charge guard in the game. With too many button locks Every puppet master in the game can pick up their puppets after being counter'd which is why players think their annoying, but the worst puppet in the game is definitely pts kank since he has no neish but having 2 sets of different paper bombs.
Ten ten is actually decent too as well as karin and tobi, Karin is the most annoying to play against because here starting hit and jutsu, then ten ten is for defensive plays as well as puppet counterplay, and that tobi is both offensive defensive because of his combo route and jutsu manip tacts
Overall i would say you got a good opinion as in why you think these characters are bad some things are just wayyyy worse like jugo, jirobo or rin, kid obito
@@StarZerotachi jirobo is pretty good I’ve never played a bad jirobo his kit is pretty solid and he does good damage being that he’s a pts characters and that pts characters do more combo damage than others
@@PlayBoiRoyce when trying to put pressure on guard people can just ninja move on his hits, so baisically he is just another jugo but actually has a decent button lock, you can't really find a neish with anything else with him and everybody can just outclass him in everything else, like pts kakashi
I can agree with most of these, and the caveates that come with others I enjoy. What I will say is Tobi has always been sort of a PTS-Sakura lite to me. He has good area denial with his mines which can force opponents to change up their approach and play around you. The other is Chiyo was a preferred puppet-user in Storm 2 for me, and while playstyles in 2 and 4 are considerably different (and I stopped playing puppets properly after 2), Chiyo is probably the most AGGRESSIVE puppet-user, with more focus on combos as opposed to jutsu spamming, which makes her more enjoyable than some other more basic characters.
It’s funny because jiraiya is one the best supports in the game because his tracking and support damage are so good. But as a main outside of the infinite on his down combo and a few shuriken tricks he doesn’t have much going for his toolkit
Since STORM 2, I have never understood why they made Jiraiya so slow and boring. In several titles of the STROM series, they never changed anything in Jiraiya. I don't think it pays a good tribute to the character which in itself is very powerful !
I didn't even know the character differences were this drastic lmao... I get some of these tho because for example kidomaru feels rlly bad to play even casually
4:08 Karin has lots of damage and an infinite combo, her ENTIRE down combo is an infinite combo! You have no idea how massive her damage is with that and not to mention her justsu makes the damage even higher and makes her also a great support!
All characters are great and should not be looked at on their own but how they synergize with other characters. Kidomaro is a hit-and-run character he's not bad. Jariya has good hit range and his Tilt is pretty tricky the fact you put him in a bad list shows how bad you are at the game. Kid choji has great air-to-ground combos and can disrupt characters if you have naruto and the third raikage for their combos and ninjutsu, bro you can dance on people with him. Kid Kiba is about zoning properly, you are bad if you let the dog stun stop you when you have a leader switch. Konan is a trick character and has the best tracking jutsu, you are playing her wrong because you don't understand team setups and how to zone properly otherwise you'd do better. That's why she isn't interested because of how bad your strategies are. Putting Karin on here is how I know you are bad. She has the best counterplay in the game. Her ninjutsu is a great wall, her Tilt wreaks shop when you improve your timing, and her air combos have high priority. Her ultimate is a super armor high-priority move. The fact you think the infinite combo is a measure for a character is baffling and I'm shocked you can't see how every character isn't bad, there is a trick and synergy to every character with a good team build and playstyle to complement each character. Kankuro is bad because I'm bad with him and most of the player base is. Flawless logic. Kid ten ten was not meant to be a melee character. Her damage is garbage, she was meant to be an aerial shuriken character, her ninjutsu is nasty for zoning, and her ultimate can do sick dead angles. She's the only character in the game that can be directly above a character and still hit them with knockback using an aerial shuriken combo. Think Isma Think! Your opinions are wrong and should discredit you. Tobi can avoid hits with his grapple, you have to rely on certain combos for certain situations and his ninjutsu flaw is negated by the leader switch and can be done with incredible tech. His awakening is the best in the game because he can Tilt to hit the opponent for free if you are doing a counterplay. And grappling teleports to the opponent for mix-ups. Bruh, seriously don't even try talking about this if you don't know what you are talking about. Because he has the highest team potential. You did not just put chyio on this list, not only does she have a crazy move pool but when she awakens she's unstoppable with a combination of Chakra shuriken and combos, it's over if you fight a competent chiyo player and you let them awaken. She is a really good keep-away character. I will fight anyone over storm 4
I honestly agree with many of the sentiments here, EXCEPT for the tone. You have good ideas, and you're probably great at the game, but direct personal attacks on the creator are definitely not going to convince him to agree with you.
Tobi’s special is actually severely underrated. I ran him as an assist character a lot, you use his special and even if you miss you can then go behind the bombs or right in front and if they charge you, just jump behind them. A lot of the time the opponent will even just forget about them. His special is great for fighting close range characters and also for using long distance and a bunch of general things like making sure you can’t get combo’d, charging up your chakra…
Karin does have an infinite though and it’s with her down combo. Overall in this game from what it seems, if you hit a character the same frame the fall down they’ll re-stand and with Karin it’s easy to do. Just hard for the timing
TS Ino is my go to while playing against other people. I just love the look in their eyes when I beat them using her. Also I love her moveset even though it isn't canon.
It sucks, puppets are my absolute favourite fightig style in the anime and kankuro is my favourite character, but I'm so bad at puppet characters in this game, and especially kankuro, I'd much rather play kid kankuro or chiyo, he just doesn't feel good, even less than other puppet users!
i agree with the list, though theres a couple of good things about konan for support: boxing the enemy with the wide range and long ultimate and spamming the main jutsu which has almost whole map range, though as the main yeah, shes horrible
This was hard to pick, so in no particular order: 10: Jugo 9: Tenten 8: PTS Tenten 7: Chiyo 6: Kidomaru 5: Karin 4: Konan 3: Shino 2: PTS Ino dishonorable mentions (lol): PTS Sakura, PTS Choji, Boruto (anime version), Kaguya, Tsunade, PTS Kankuro, Jiraya, PTS Shikamaru, PTS Shino, Kushina... 1: Tayuya P.S. I know this is more of an "they are not bad in game characters, you just suck at using them" situation with me, but meh, there will always be characters someone is good at using, and those they are not really that good at using.
There're not bad characters, yawl just can't learn different play styles. everyone's way to into infinite, if it doesn't have one, character must be trash... tobi is on this list 😅 dudes a tier character just for his jutsu. his one/first hit has the largest hitbox able to cancel characters rushing at you. grab is also crazy, characters like Konan and Karin, are made for support, both justu very spammy nd used alot in support situations. damn kid pts sasuke is trash... 3 hits into a combo, 20 sec for a jutsu... thats trash my boi. puppets are always trash until you fight a puppet master 😅.
I agree, however, If we use that logic in every single fighting game, it wouldn't exist bad characters at all and that's simply impossible. We have to keep in mind that a certain character must give you more advantages than conditions, and that's not the case with the characters in this list. But anyway, your point is pretty valid as well.
Konan has been disappointing.. Her ultimate could have been something way better yet somehow her ninjutsu and ultimate jutsu is just her saying "Shikigami no Mai" when we obviously saw her amassed 600 billion paper bombs to take down Tobi. It's not even an over the top thing for them to animate when you remember those crazy ultimate jutsu animations like RTB Naruto/Sasuke.
It’s actually funny how dated this video is, with new tech. Puppet users are probably the best in the game because how incredibly easy they are to abuse infinity block pill, lighting kunai and again. Switch tech, everyone I mean everyone in this game switches. I think it’s such a bad video when you don’t mention these characters as a support role, Tobi alone is probably the best when it comes to defense becauee how broken his ninjutsu is. Also, when we have to say the worst, sasori is probably the worst because his combo drops any moment alike Chojy.
I agree with most of ur points but tobis defense isnt his only thing his offense is equally as good, at least as a support or jutsu switch, that is. Also puppets can be good but definitely not the best in the game imo. The good ol 6p madara danzo edo hashi etc are just wayy too op once u know how to counter puppets
def took some time for them to be as good as the storm 3 era were we had the restand glitch lol. Tobi is def slept on hard and its because people think his first hit is terrible but like you said, dude has good lame play in comp.
Bruh tenten is the best in the long range characters, her combos are short and fast , her jutsu blocks and acts like a shield , pros absolutely destroy other players with her
Tobi is not one of the worst chars I use to play him often. People just don't have the knowledge to make bad chars viable a lot of the time. Ive found a lot of stuff people never knew about or started to play my teams. I was also the one who found the inf awakening glitch before the last two main patches lol. Though the others on the list are def the worse.
check my channel out because thats cap, I have a storm playlist. Storm games are a lot like smash, you can play them like a party game or more technical, I also have exp with legitimate fighting games so I'm not bull shitting you.
I love playing as Toby. If you get really good at avoiding attacks, he's the perfect trolling . I also whooped with Chiyo. I would play online and wreck naruto spammers.
Can't believe Shippuden Tenten didn't make the list. I guess she has a decent grab, but god, all her other moves are awful. Shino and Deidara can create pressure with slow-moving projectiles. Tamari and the 2nd Mizukage have tilts with many active frames which are a good close-range "get off me" option. What does Tenten have? Her jutsu is ok, I guess - it knocks the opponent up for a follow-up attack. But the recovery is so long that you basically have to switch to make use of it; it's a support jutsu. And the range is very short.
nah Jiraiya is fire he hits slow but it hits like a truck, use him correctly make them waste subs and then its wraps. His rasengan does way too much damage and sage mode obviously is one of the best awakenings
Tobi is the only one of this list where I played against him online and he whooped me over and over. Any time I got close to winning, he would use awakening and destroy me. I have fought some good Kankuro's too.
All right I know this might just be me but I think the worst characters that were put in this game were the four different versions of Naruto and Sasuke those to me are the worst character that were put in the game because there could have been plenty of room for other characters to be in this game that actually deserved it but they were like no we need three different versions of Naruto you can play to put costumes on him and I'm like you could have just put it all in one character and just had multiple versions of them they're like what is that going to do to hurt your game you don't need like four different versions of now or two in four different versions of Sasuke and then it doesn't help that they made like other side Naruto characters like their own characters but they're just versions of Naruto and Sasuke and some of the other characters as just costume characters but as just Standalone characters and I'm like come on what the hell are the people at the studio doing he's got any characters like the seven Swordsmen of the Mist which would have not been hard to actually do but nope we have to settle for multiple versions of Naruto and other versions of this character and that character and I'm like yeah
They did it like that because the power scaling and move set change drastically between each version. It would be understandable to have like 20 Naruto costumes but that would make choosing which awakenings, moves, secret techinquea, ninjutsu, and movements way more confusing than just having everything separated
Here's my list From worst of the worst to the best among the worst: 1) Jiraiya 2) rin 3) kankuro pts 4) kiba pts 5) neji pts 6) sakura pts7 hinata pts) 8) tenten pts 9) temari pts 10) choji pts I played a lot. Puppets are replacing most of the worst if you dont know how to play but if you know them well they are OP.
