Ben Simmons is the softest pro athlete in history. Everything about this dude, from his facial expressions to his body language, just says "I'm soft". I've never seen anything like it.
How come this video is 5 hours old in its upload but speaks about Ben Simmons about 1 or 2 months ago? He's picking himself up. Harden the same, he's working now in Philly. The trade was good for both and I reckon Ben is going to keep improving and gaining more confidence. Or at least I hope so, just because it's fun to watch him play.
Ben Simmons has been doing great on defense as of late and has started to get back into form. Him and Claxton are the reason we are and above average defense. Edit: this is future Dylan, I now believe that Simmons contract is bad and that he is no longer as good as I thought. I still think he is good at defense though. And when he gets past the injury completely he can get to at least 70% to what he was before
Westbrooks contact is at least very tradeable given its expiring and its massive size though would still probably put in the back end of a top 10 list.
@@abarenas Well I would say it's about leverage since there's plenty of trade time and teams are preying on Lakers intent to be competitive now Vs Lakers not wanting to burn a pick or two just to pick say Hield and Turner which I don't think turn the needle and affects their future cap. Perhaps closer to deadline we will see the teams demand drop as teams look to hard tank / free up their own space.
Not really sure including players on low money can be considered some of the 10 worst in the league. Fultz and Wiseman aren't on enough money to restrict their teams from signing other players. I'm surprised you haven't included players like Beal and Lavine who are fantastic players, but let's be honest they're making as much money as number 1 options but they're second options at best.
Fultz seems to often get targetted in these videos. Yes, he hasn't lived up to expectations, but his shoulder inury was very serious. Now that he's getting past it, and basically has had to relearn to shoot, he's starting to do quite well on the Magic. He's lagging a few years behind others in his draft class - due largely to the injury - but he's showing good signs now.
That, and, his original shooting coach fucked him by telling him he needed to change his shot and make it more traditional. Completely ruined his mechanics and he basically “forgot” what his other form was and how to shoot like it. Watch his college highlights and compare them to literally just his rookie highlights. His form is night and day, like watching 2 different people shoot a basketball. He was a great shooter too and his form in college was beautiful. I have no clue what that shooting coach saw because he could really shoot the ball from anywhere on the court. Hoping one day he has a lightbulb moment and remembers his old form and shooting mechanics/shooting ability.
I feel like Lonzo Ball belongs on this list. Yes, he is dealing with injury (supposedly), but anytime you are paying a guy $20 million a year and he is watching his team from a big screen TV at home (for nearly 2 years), its a bad contract.
These 🤡 are all ridiculously overpaid, no matter how good you are it doesn't make sense to be paying them the type of money they're being paid just for playing basketball
beal has the worst contract. they gave him that no trade clause which means they cant get good value to trade him, hes only getting older, and the team doesnt have nearly enough to contend
When Minnesota pulled an uno reverse card to offset the Vikings basically giving Dallas picks to build their dynasty..idk if they will be able to replicate that, but how you give up that much for a mid player, shit I would have given up those for Curry, Lebron, Durant, Giannis, etc but Rudy ☠️☠️☠️
You can’t make a video about the worst NBA contracts without mentioning Bradley Beal who arguably has the worst contact in the whole league, especially with the no trade clause
It might be like a Russell Westbrook situation with Ben mans sensitive and need the support of the crowd and the people around him to do good, i think he’s coach throwing him under the bus broke holing and then all the memes and people just making fun of mans got no confidence left cause he never truly had it , it was just based on what most people felt about him and now that he don’t have that anymore he shadow of himself, the mind can affect you health as well, man still reaching for his back
How Pat Riley went for the Okey Doke? Beats me. Klay is older, but not washed. He's playing through pain. Ben Simmons does not want to be in Brooklyn. I'm not sure what other team wants to take a chance on him. The Nets are screwed since they will trade him for much less. The Clippers or the Wizards might be the best option for him.
YOOOOO the Johnathan Isaac stat about him not playing in 3 seasons on a $70M contract was actually insane. I think that’s the worst one cause bro out here robbing 😂
I think you have to take into consideration that a lot of these contracts are created to be backloaded. You make less now, so they can have cap space and win now. That's part of the business. Now let's talk about the most overpaid NBA owners.
He’s getting paid to play, why would you feel bad for someone who doesn’t put in the work? I am pretty sure he doesn’t work on his shooting the way he should.
Its ironic that today Golbert is seen as overpriced and irrelevant in the playoffs, even after 3 DPOY. But in 10 years from now when Wembyama is dominating the West, every team going to be looking for the next Golbert.
