There has to be an explanation behind that last one, like its temporarily being stored there. I refuse to believe there is any city out there that is that incompetent.
0:35 is my old local - Manjimup, Western Australia Believe it or not, that ridiculous rail was built as a standalone piece, there wasn't anything connected to it prior to this photo being taken. It was built for BMX riders, only 1 person I know of has successfully hit it. There was another bullshit rail in the background, waist height and like 10 metres long also built for BMX riders. The bitumen had potholes everywhere, gravel scattered across it and every ramp had over-exposed coping with some of the steepest transition I can remember hitting. Had a dream about this park the other night and it was somehow worse than what's being displayed here lmao
5:13 the skate plaza looks fun like a decent park I would enjoy skating the ones with not enough concrete or the transitions are super steep are depressing to look at
4:23 I remember a skatepark I went to a few times (If I remember right, maybe Malminkartano in Helsinki like 2000-2002ish?!) had something extremely similar if not the same thing back in the day :D it was really scary to grind seeing the fall at the other side :D
4:00 at least that "ridiculously mellow" mini ramp would be PERFECT for beginners learning to drop in. That would've saved me lots of time trying to learn.
That ramp isn't teaching anyone how to drop in. You'd go from that to a proper halfpipe and eat the pavement because you aren't used to the steep transition
If you're visiting different countries for their skateparks, I'd suggest you give a go in Latvia, in the Capital we've got a nice pump track, haven't been there myself, but I've heard positive feedback about it, the capital has also got a lot of other skateparks. But if you're looking for a good street, downhills or skateable spots, drive down to Rezekne, it's 3.5h on a train from the capital, that's just my opinion and i haven't seen Latvian skateparks mentioned on youtube, so that's some unique content right there. Anyway, nice vid
There's one here, in Norwich UK. It's in a place called Heathgate, but it's got a sign with Deathgate on it. Next time I'm there I'll take some photos. Spoiler, the ground is almost like gravel and a kicker that goes straight into some trees.
There is a skatepark in Spirit Lake Idaho. I'm not sure how to send you a pic. But all it is, two sides of a mini ramp, way to far apart, one of them is about broken because part of it isn't attached to the ground, and two sides of a quarter pipe and half pipe, all of these are rusted and the concrete floor has soo much cracks that it's very hard to not fall on your face. Then when I went there there was two broken ledges. I wish this park was restored because if it was it would be a little fun, sadly it is a better basketball court than a skatepark, and yes there are two hoops on the sides of the skatepark, so it would be very difficult to skate while other people are running back and forth.
2:51 that's definitely for BMX. A spine ramp that vertical isn't comfortable to ride with a skateboard for sure. We have a similar thing in a park here that's for BMX bikes only basically, which sucks. Every ledge and bench is way too high for an average skateboarder to do much with. Probably too high for scooters too, whereas a BMX rider wouldn't have too much problems.
It's in leeds in the UK, specifically cottingley. It was built by the leeds city council, typical of the shite park the council build over here. P.s. I live round the corner from that park hahaha
@@thestruggle8499 Cool, do you see any BMX riders ever make use of the park? I know in my neighbourhood there is one that is more intended for BMXers but mainly skateboarders use it and are forced to use pretty ridiculous soft wheels for it. Pretty terrible.
PHeMoX not really, the council department said it was built for all sports, scooters, Bmx, skaters, roller blading.. you see a couple of scooter kids riding there from time to time but for everyone in the area they would rather ride a curb spot it’s hard to use any of the obstacles on anything 😂😂
GAH U SHOULD SEE THE DKATEPARK JN CHOLCHESTER CONNECTICUT!! THERES SAND EVERYWHERE AND THEY ONLY HAVE 3 RAMPS AND TOO MUCH OPEN SPACE!! BUNCH OF POT- HOLES
Hey, im from Mclean County KY! And ill take a picture of our little skatepark here in Livermore. I went there today and swept it up and rubbricked it down and waxed it up cause some kids shot off a bunch of fireworks and trashed it recently :/. Hit me up bro!
I say my skatepark in Morristown Tennessee is actually good but I dont like it because my skatepark is slippery and scary to skate, but I do okay cause I been skateboarding for a long time, but I believe all skateparks should be made out of concrete, and for those that ain't got a skatepark that's just sad to yalls councilors. But I hope one day my skatepark is concrete, like the flatground itself is concrete, but thu ramps are just plain metal. AWESOME video😀
This video only shows me that ppl will ask for the city to build a skate park and that is it. The city will built it with their tools upside down, not caring at all. That last one looks lile an insult.
Thanks for the video , you sound just as lame as the skateparks. You are hilarious! Become a comedian! You had me laughing soooooooo hard! Keep up the good work
