You could do a few of these lists: Curt Hennig from WWE to WCW Public Enemy from ECW to WWE Sandmss from ECW to WCW Wildcat Chris Harris from TNA to WWE EC3 from TNA to WWE Alundra Blayze from WWE to WCW Mike Awesome from ECW to WCW British Bulldog, Jim Neidhart & Rick Rude from WWE (post Screwjob) to WCW
that makes no sense, as far as I know Flair was a the initiatior when talking to Hogan while he filmed Thunder in Paradise or some movie while he wasnt working for WWF
Damn lol Bischoff told Honkey Tonk he was shit lol. Wow. That is hilarious. But to be fair the Honkey Tonk gimmick was so outdated. It’s an 80’s gimmick and really sucked on the 90’s. But it was great in the 80’s.
It is not true that Flair's entire TNA run was a total failure. To me, his first nine months in TNA when he was just manager and mentor of Fortune was pretty cool and it worked out to perfection. Especially him mentoring AJ Styles and Beer Money. Same goes for his brief yet memorable feud with Jay Lethal. However, the moment they had him ally with his both on screen real life eternal enemy Eric Bischoff it all went downhill fast. Nobody in their right minds could ever buy the crap about Flair and Biscoff being best friends. After that, it was total failure, but first nine months were actually pretty cool.
Eric Bischoff never openly said that he regrets his time in TNA. At least, not directly. He was asked in interviews what positive memories he had of his time in TNA to which he replied "None".
@@MrPooly1459 Yes, but the point is that he never said it directly. He did admit that he got along ok with most of younger wrestlers, but he was generally unhappy there.
He’s spoken more recently on his podcast that he doesn’t regret it but for the sole reason that he was able to help his son experience his dream to be a wrestler and work with his son in doing that. But basically every other thing about his time there he’s spoken poorly of and it’s pretty fair when you hear how the place operated during that period of time.
That he was ever allowed to run TNA's onscreen product after all the years in WCW is a testament to how backward wrestling is. Honky Tonk aint Hogan but he was right about Bischoff.
Beat up Petey Williams and doing commentary. That's it, yeah and maybe Black Snow and almost falling over with laughter while Scott Steiner tore the young guys to shreds.
We have to wonder if Sting regrets going to WWE, because he went there and immediately got buried by Triple H, so Vince could relive the Monday Night wars one list time, and then got injured in the match with Seth Rollins.
He was not buried by triple h. Look it up he himself said the reason he lost to triple h because of the time sting himself believed it was going to be his last match and he wanted to lose that he himself said so so look it up and stop lying at your ass he was not buried
@@LibraJohnnyhe can't. His release from aew was a conditional clause that he won't appear on TV and he still chose to leave. It tells us that he was not that interested in working there
@@claymathewselevator8121 Kevin Nash? He, he was fine enough. But you know who really needs RESPECCCC? Chet Lemon. A damn shame TNA didn't hire him full time.
Regal obviously wouldnt bury AEW in a social media post. But it speaks volume that all talent that are not suicidal like danielson, indie darlings and retiring WWE talent are going back to WWE one by one. Cody leaving the ship, CM Punk getting a W because tony cant manage his indie mudshow made out of immature hacks w of which act as management in it. The fact that All Emergency Wrasslin managed to heal CM Punk and WWE relations should inform you just how incompetent the place is.
@@_NutcasE_ Really because some ex stars who WWE wanted signed new deals with AEW last year like FTR and Jon Moxley. In fact Moxley prefers his AEW run to his last year in WWE.
When a lot of WWE wrestlers moved to TNA and TNA, I thought TNA was focusing on them too much while they already have awesome wrestlers like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels and it's not really necessary but when TNA was kind of going down.... I thought "Did WWE send them there for that purpose?"
Excellent video as always, but I think the line “Still feels bad for cheapening his WWE Swan song with the HBK”. I don’t know the man personally (woo) but can assure you he does not feel bad even in the slightest LOL
As a fan of the main event Mafia a lot of Booker T did with Kevin Nash in it the respect I respect and everyone else should respect what Booker T did in that storyline I respect Booker T
Why do people never want to mention that Bret wrestled 8 matches after that botched kick, against the recommendation of doctors, and one of those matches was a Hardcore match against fucking Terry Funk? Did Goldberg, who has vehemently apologized numerous times since then, really end Bret's career? Or is this another example of Bret screwing Bret?
@CollateralCurse yeah, I wouldn't say it's the sole reason either. These people go through a lot of punishment through their careers. But that kick definitely accelerated his retirement.
You could have also has Bill Goldberg and his first WWE run. Reagal can't hate AEW that much as one of the members of the Blackpool Combat Club revealed they have their own WhatsApp group and not only is he a member, and he is on their the whole time. His main regret was being fired from WWE. He actually said he had a good relationship with Tony Khan and it was because of their good friendship thar Tony Khan agreed to let Reagal out of his contract so he could go back to WWE
The only reason Shane Douglas never made it big in wrestling is... Shane Douglas. He never did anything except complain and blame other people for his failures, like Kliq in WWE or even better example Ric Flair in WCW. How significant his complaints were in world of wrestling the best proof is Flair's autobiography. Flair, who was always known for burrying people he hated both legitimately and on-screen, never even mentioned Douglas in a single sentence, going as far to, years later, claim that he had no idea who Douglas was back in the 90s and that he, therefore, never held any grudge against him.
Sadly enough, Booker T holds so much spite against his time in TNA that he can't comprehend why anybody would sign with AEW over WWE or leave WWE for AEW. Booker T isn't even a pro wrestling fan anymore, he's just a WWE stooge.
Out of hurt pride, "just" because he had to lose the title in his hometown against his rival (probably an enemy at the time), Bret had probably hoped that if he went to WCW, he would cause damage to Vince & the WWF. In the end, not only did this help the WWF more than one could imagine, but it also put a disgraceful end to Bret's illustrious career (through the match with Goldberg). If he had ignored his pride back then, he would have had a better future & who knows, maybe Owen would even be alive today. Nobody knows how it would have turned out, but the fact is that Bret partially ruined his life through this wrong decision, but at the same time it also ruined the life of e.g. B. Steve Austin has enriched.
If a company you worked for most of your career offered you a twenty-year contract, then reneged on it and told you to go to a rival company, would you swallow your pride? Stop blaming Bret for having integrity; blame McMahon for not having any and for putting Owen and other wrestlers in dangerous positions for a cheap pop.
Also Bret said he would be happy if they changed it to Bret v Stone Cold Steve Austin. If they had Bret would have been happy to drop the title to Austin at the Survivor Series. Bret didn't respect Shawn, but he had great respect for Austin. In fact he always says his matches with Austin were some of his favourites.
Kaval aka Low Key. Low Key was a great X Division Wrestler for TNA and the WWE had put him in NXT and that was when NXT was different and ECE had the same treatment when he was in WWE. They treated him as a Joke. But as soon as he went over to Impact wrestling. He had grown up with the Company Impact wrestling.
To be fair what a lot of people blame Bischoff for in TNA was Dixie Carters fault. Bischoff was brought in by Hogan to make sure he didn't get screwed over. TNA had backstage problems because of Dixie Carter ask Billy Corgan who got screwed over by Dixie. If you want a moment when Bischoff had to help because no one else knew what to do. Look at TNA Victory Road 2011 main event Sting v Jeff Hardy
To be fair, does Bret really count? Granted, I am a lifelong WCW fanatic, and his run really wasn't that bad when you watch it back (I just wish he had had a couple Big Gold Belt shots in his first year). When you talk to Bret and ask him about his favorite moments in his career, WCW comes up a lot (El Dandy, Goldberg Steel Plate, wrestling Sting, Benoit at the Owen Show and later Mayhem, winning the Big Gold Belt due to it's history and legacy). Nevermind the fact he was paid $3 Million, and Vince essentially forced him into signing the contract Personally, I don't count Bret on this list for the reasons above.
Some of the big names in WCW didn't sign when they were brought out from WWE Sting, Steiner brothers,Kidman,Raven, Kevin Nash, notoriously Bret Hart he actually walked out of WWF instantly and went to WCW the very next day after the screw job. Bret Hart hated Vince McMahon and had a massive feud on screen and off screen with HBK whether he still feels that way after Montreal screwjob Idk. By the time WCW didn't sign a contract with WWF/WWE They were well past their prime sting for instance only made very brief appearances in 2014 13 years later. Alot of those WCW wrestlers got screwed over after the transition if anything if I was WCW wrester and the competition brought the company I'm out that's probably the biggest regret for those wrestlers.
William Regal: Vince will be gone soon enough! So I will take this idiot, billionaires money for a while and then when Vince is gone! I will go back to WWE! Four months later Vince McMahon retire! William Regal: Tony Khan I want to work with my son! Genius! Tony Khan: Okay Bye!
A maturity issue at AEW...yep. That's what happens when the bucks and omega are evps. That's just how it's going to go with them having that power. Glad it worked out for Regal and hope AEW stays around.
WCW LEGENDS STING & BOOKER T SHOULD'VE REGRETTED THEIR TIME IN WWE AFTER BEING 'BURIED' BY VINCE'S SON IN LAW AT WRESTLEMANIA! SCOTT STEINER & KEVIN NASH ALSO 'BURIED' BY TRIPLE H, WHILE DDP & BUFF BAGWELL SHOULDVE REGRETTED THEIR WWE DEBUT IN 2001 TOO!
You guys are being WAY to nice to AEW by not including CM Punk. He's like the modern day Bret Hart; super over Ex-WWE guy with reason to be unhappy with WWE who jumped over the next biggest promotion, noticed that every promoter and wrestler in that promotion were idiotic manchildren and realized that maybe WWE isn't so bad.
Their are plenty of ex WWE guys that don't. FTR, Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, Samoa Joe, The late Brodie Lee, Shawn Spears, Adam Cole, Mike Bennet and Rodderick Strong dont
Vince was always some sort of feminist. The way he and Dunn treated many female wrestlers over the years, were disgusting. Women’s Wrestling was an entire joke because of him. Many women including Kim deserved better. NJPW and TNA were able to make the division of what it should have been before WWE finally took it seriously in 2015 thanks to Triple H.
If Ric Flair thinks TNA was a stain on his legacy, just wait until he gets AEW's stink all over him. It took that clown show less than a month to reduce Edge just another meaningless talent on the roster. What do you think they're gonna do to Ric Flair?
