Sami really should use the Blue Thunder Bomb as his finish and the Helluva Kick would be the perfect setup move for it. It’s really easily to visualize: first Sami nearly takes his opponents head off in the corner with the Helluva Kick, then while they’re seemingly out on their feet, he pulls them out of the corner, picks them up and corkscrews them into the mat with the Blue Thunder Bomb for the 3.

Blue thunder bomb needs to make some preparations, he has several steps. But you just need to throw people at the corner post,You can directly release Helluva Kick. His movements are simpler and faster. You just need to sprint with all your strength to kick someone in the face,It looks more deadly.

Unpopular opinion: I think, every wrestler should have 2-3 different finishing moves simultaniously. Those signature moves don't really mean something. You always know the match won't be over when, say, Corbin hits a Deep Six or Sami hits a Blue Thunder Bomb. They look impressive, but they never give you the impression that they could end the match, because they just never do. And if WWE would suddenly make them end a match, it wouldn't look credible, because they never finish a match. Having more than 1 designated finisher would allow them to have more tension in the matches, because it could be over at any time, no matter which one the moves (that all have the potential to decide a match) actually wins the battle.

Actually most wrestlers have at least 2 finishers (sometimes 3 but one gets demoted down to signature). Cena has the AA and STF. Orton has the RKO and back then the punt kick. Taker had the tombstone and last ride (the chokeslam is his signature). The rock had rock bottom and people's elbow. There was also a time that the miz used the figure four as a submission finisher. Kofi has trouble in paradise and SOS. Punk with anaconda vice and GTS. Sheamus even had 3 at one time The high cross, brogue kick and white noise(tho the high cross was rarely used later on). But yeah I do agree with at least 3 finishers

I know now that the _Samoan Spike_ wasn't well regarded but I always felt like it was pretty solid and convincing when it was delivered accurately because the neck is such a vulnerable part of the body and was even better when he'd be flying as he delivered it. Umaga was such a beast, his matches always had me on edge because he could play the power game so well and wasn't just fast for his size and stature, but showed that he was even faster than other flyers and small speedsters and could deliver devastating moves in an instant and that made him feel so much more dangerous and believable as the beast of a wrestler he actually was and that anyone he was up against could lose. Also gotta say, it makes me happy knowing we've got guys like Owens showing respect by asking Austin's permission/blessing to make it important again and use the _Stunner_ as a finisher and I think it shows a lot that he'd be happy and honored to given Owen's the green light.

I don't agree with you. The Samoan Spike is far scarier than the Samoan Splash and Pop-Up Samoan Drop,Samoan Spike is faster and harder to guard against,Keep in mind that any attack to the throat is fatal. Pop-Up Samoan Drop is indeed a powerful Signature,But apparently Samoan Spike is far more deadly. As for the Samoan Splash, Umaga just refers to him as an ordinary Diving Move, he's not a Signature. Samoan Spike is well deserved as a Finisher. This is a great and deadly move. Test's Finisher Test Big Boot is more deadly than Elbow Drop. In fact, Samoan Spike and Test Big Boot are more powerful as Finisher than their Signature. Because they are faster and more deadly. Twist Of Fate is also reasonable as Matt Hardy's Finisher , because his action looks more beautiful than Signature Side Effect. Sami Zayn's Helluva kick is also a Good Finisher, because he's faster and more deadly. When a man kicks you face with a full sprint,That would be painful. These moves can be used as Finisher, and there is their rationality.

For Test, the Test Drive looked more devastating than the Elbow Drop, sorry. And for Goldberg, back in WCW, the Jackhammer was something to behold, as he was holding several 300+ lb guys straight up in the air for 5-8 seconds before finishing them off. The Spear was a great signature to lead into his finish because whether he was pulling his opponent back onto their feet or they were getting up on their own, they'd look and seem dazed either way.

The Jackhammer back in the day was brutal and impressive, far more so IMO than the spear which has been used by so many people. As good as Bill’s spear is I don’t find it significantly better than Roman’s or Edge’s. With that said, I completely agree that the jackhammer is far too dangerous in the hands of a Goldberg that can’t consistently pull it off anymore and as great as it was back in the day it’s probably safer he remove it these days.

The jackhammer / brainbusters have always been very underrated compared to the power bombs. In fact,Umaga just regards Samoan Splash as an ordinary diving move. I don't deny that Samoan Splash looks so strong, but his hurt is still exaggerated by some people. Because wrestlers are strong, Their strong muscles can effectively relieve the impact of Samoan Splash. But even the strongest man, his throat is absolutely fragile. Samoan Spike makes people feel the fear of death.

I agree with a lot of this (not all of it, but a lot of it). Maybe we could see another video in the future where you could talk about wrestlers who moved on to better finishers than they previously had. I remember Jack Gallagher using a corner dropkick for a long time before changing it over to his headbutt, which I thought was a massive upgrade. The dropkick didn't look all that impactful, where the headbutt did and could be done just about anywhere.

Kinda have to agree with the pop up powerbomb, sure the almost "out of nowhere " theatrics it has is dope, but unlike other "out of nowhere moves " this one requires someone running towards you or throwing someone to bounce off the ropes. Plus yeah some people use the common power bomb as a signature, finisher as well or just part of the move set. It doesn't have that you can hit it from anywhere type of move like a strike finisher, Slam finisher, or submissions (besides perhaps corner rop setups or the 619)

Umaga had such a great moveset of devastating looking moves, mostly because of the speed at which he hit so many of them- force= mass times acceleration so that big frame moving fast was always credible. But the thing that always looked real to me was his running hip attack. Especially because it was so theatric. Getting a believable knockdown, dragging a limp body to a corner and setting them up. Slowly moving to the other corner for the rear back scream, a jump, and then tearing across the ring and slamming into the turnbuckle with that big backside right to the head and chest. His back end was so large it was hard to even think of as a worked bump, it always looked like they just had to sit there and take 400 lbs to the face. I personally don't know what they do to protect the recipient, but I've never seen any other performer do that hip attack and have it look as believable.

Honestly I disagree with almost every one of these but especially the End Of Days, Killswitch, Helluva Kick and Samoan Spike. Imo these easily are much better than the respective signatures (the latter because it was mostly sold brilliantly and made it genuinely seem like he demolished their windpipe) The Stunner and Zigglers Chin Music were introduced when their previous finishers lost too much credibility already and rarely ended a match. And I see using the Superkick as finisher as no problem compared to the Usos for example using it 10 times every match without it having any impact, considering that the Sweet Chin Music was one of the most iconic and protected finishers of Shawn Michael's active career. Matt's Twist of Fate was a good finisher and the Side Effect is a cool move but would look kinda weak as a finisher, the only problem was Jeff using the Twist of Fate as signature at the same time Matt used it as finisher
