10 WWE Wrestling Titles That Never Saw The Light of Day 

Cena's chain title concept does look pretty cool, however, I do think that the spinner belt made more sense.

That Winged Eagle updated belt for The Rock looked absolutely _sick._ They missed out on a lot of money by not producing it.

Adding that spinning Rated R logo to the WWE title when Edge won the title from Cena was the perfect heel move back then.

I will forever miss the Rated R Championship by Edge and the Brahma Bull Championship by The Rock should’ve been used at least once, it looks cool!

If you don't work for WWE, you can call them belts, as the design originally came from weight belts people use in gyms

I think it would have been weird to make Edge's title for the WWE title, like it looks to much like the I.C. title to then be the world title y'know?

In terms of aesthetics, actual WWE belts look like amateur thing, like made by poor promotions in a single shape to spend less money of production. The classical shapes was awesome, especially the 80's belts. There's a reason AEW make their belts with classical look, and all of you must confess, All Elite Wrestling belts are truly wonderful and very attractive because of this.

That Eagle holding the WWE Logo with its claws with leather feathers drawing OMG 😍

I loved the Winged Eagle with the bird feathers on the strap. So sad they didn't use that.

Edge’s rated r title looked sick, it kinda looks like the old IC belt from the 80s to the 90s

Edge’s design for the WWE title looked more like an IC title design. But it honestly wasn’t that bad of a design but in a way not fitting of being the world title

It definitely would’ve been a perfect time for them to present the Brahma Bull belt for The Rock in 2013

Edge's Rated R WWE title design is amazing

I actually liked what Edge came up with for his custom world title belt. He combined the old school Intercontinental Championship design with what would fit his character perfectly. Vince honestly should of had it made and given it a shot.

The eagle design could have been the new us title

WWE needs to seriously create the modern golden eagle belt. That title art work looked *beyond dope.* For posterity sake, At the time of commenting, I believe heel Roman Reigns holds both the WWE and Universal Championships. It is unknown if WWE intends to unify the titles or make another brand split scenario. Whatever happens, I’d be so cool if they used that modern eagle design.

I think ROH must have used that Hogan one as inspiration for one of the designs of their TV Title.

I love custom the belts though some were not good but I love john cena edge the rock stone cold were so Awesome the Daniel Bryan was funny that look all wood but it make sense for his heel character so it suit his style personality to me.

The Andre belt and the Hogan 86 belt were not similar belts in design. They were two completely different designs. Not just in size. Take a closer look.

The Broken Skull and Brahma Bull Championships looked cool but what never made sense is why did Edge use the IC Title design for as a World Title? Just never made sense

I used to have that Brahma Bull Belt when I was like 7 bro you just unlocked a memory I totally forgot🫠

IMO the designs for the Rated R Championship belt looked a lot like the old IC belt worn by the likes of Honky Tonk, Macho Man, Ultimate Warrior, Perfect, Hart, Piper, Michaels etc. That's probably half the reason the designs were rejected.

There were 2 Smoking Skull BELTS, one in Silver, one in Hold. The Gold one was used on TV. Warrior had a Winged Eagle on a yellow strap, never made it on tv.

Just go back to the winged eagle world title and the early 90's IC title (both very popular) and stop changing everything. Some things shouldn't change. Title belts are one of them. They have history in them. They should be timeless.

It's a shame Andre's health didn't allow for him to have a short reign with the "Giant" belt before WM3.

8:35 I liked how Edge just changed the center of the spinner belt, it's a very Edge thing to do, to just steal the original design and put his spin on it. The Miz did something similar too by just flipping the W to a M, not as noticeable of a change since it spun in the first place.

It would've been cool if WCW had the NWO platinum World Heavyweight Championship belt customized for Hulk Hogan.

Man I miss the Rock’s WWE belt that he revealed after beating Punk. They should’ve kept that one. The current one is lackluster

I got the toy Rock belt when I was in high school when it first came out. Never realized that it was a rare belt that never got used.

I kinda get why they didn't use the Brahma Bull championship especially since The Rock never had really long title reigns that never lasted longer than 2 or 3 months but his star power was big enough that he should have had a custom title. I liked the concept version of the Intercontinental championship they didn't use and even though WWE didn't like it I thought Edge's version of his custom WWE championship looked good. It basically looked a red , black, and white classic Intercontinental championship main plate with Edge's logo but with different side plates. It fitted Edge but wouldn't have looked right on anybody else just like the spinner version of the WWE championship didn't look right on anybody else but Cena

Fun fact. Flair can be seen on an episode of Nitro from 2000, holding the Vegas Big Gold.

I actually have a replica of the Andre The Giant World Heavyweight Championship. When I first saw it on television as a kid I knew I wanted to have that title so bad it was only years ago when I finally got the opportunity to purchase one online and it's still in my office in display right now

Edges custom made wwe championship belt looks a lot like IC title classic. It looks good but not good enough for Vince,so instead he got a badly cheap made one. Heck I even liked the rocks custom made belt too but it’s strange that it got lost. Very strange.

I really wish Punk was the one to scrap the spinner, i would have loved him doing that and bringing back the winged eagle or at least the big eagle, much like Cody did with the IC title

That WCW rebrand idea sounds amazing. I hope Tony Khan makes new ROH belts and gets rid of what Danhausen described as the tribal tat looking logo.

it was a Fucking stupid decision about Unifying the IC and World Heavyweight Title at No Mercy 2002 since WWE only had one singles Title for the men and that would be the World Heavyweight title since the European and Hardcore Titles were deactivated earlier in the year.

We were crazy about the Smoking Skull strap. You could unlock it in games like WWF WrestleMania 2000, WWF No Mercy and even the All Japan Pro Wrestling licensed Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 on N64.

When Austin debuted the smoking skull belt my eyes almost popped out my head lol. That was the dopest thing I ever seen in my life. I would try to recreate it out of cardboard as I was too young (only 7-8) and too poor to ever even think about owning a replica of that lol

A lot of these belt designs look amazing. Hard to believe most them were scrapped in favor of something else. My favorite designs in this video were that winged eagle bekt with talons and Cena's chain belt and brahma bull bbekt. Not a fan of the current intercontinental championship design, I prefer the classic version. Please bring this back.

So there's a toy belt that my brother bought during the attitude era, this was an Undertaker design belt with lots of flames. "UNDERTAKER" spelled across the belt with the T being the centerpoint and looking like a sword with the old scratch Federation logo on top. Was this another scrapped title belt too? As a toy belt it looks badass, I can't even imagine what it would look like as a real belt!

I really don't know why they got rid of the big gold title. The titles back then were unique and now they all look the same with just different colors.

Both the tag team titles look terrible. Bring back the tag titles looks from the original brand split. If they ever have two main titles for the men's again then keep one as is and bring back the Undisputed Title look for the other show.
