Hey guys!
CDTVProductions here, and today we will be talking about 10 rappers who FELL OFF after appearing on the XXL Freshman list, and talking about WHY they fell off.
I decided to make this as the 2018 XXL list will be here very soon, bringing new pitches, freestyles and cyphers, and lists about XXL were amongst the first ever videos I made on this channel.
So with that being said, who do I think has fallen off the hardest since the XXL freshman list from 2007-2017? Watch the video to find out!

Came back to critique this list lol. Just watched a fascinating 50 minute documentary on Charles Hamilton (xxl freshman list of 09. the doc is on the red bull site) I think he had a WAY more fiery/harsher falloff then BoB, who was on the list with him...and maybe anybody on this list. Dude had so many mixtapes and talent, but the guy suffered from bipolar disorder and became self destructive as soon as he got a major record deal. Think they dropped him in a month. He also had a lot of sad circumstances happen to him at the time he was getting famous that halted him ... highly recommend the doc (and his music, been binging on his mixtapes)

What I said was he should’ve capitalised on it quicker by dropping a full length album, but instead he dropped a mixtape that was full of snippets. If he released something that was actually complete, he’d have been able to hold people’s attention for longer.

What about Macklemore? He was on the 2012 list. He dropped hits like Thrift Shop and Can't Hold Us, and other songs like White Walls got a fair amount of fame, but he didn't have as many hits as, say, Kid Ink or Fetty Wap, who were both on the list. After Thrift Shop and Can't Hold Us, which were easily the biggest hits of his prime, we didn't hear much of him anymore.
