He was amazing our family is music gifted and my daughter who was born 2lbs 4oz 35 yrs ago when she was 3yr singing anything that came on the radio back then. Had changes for recording studio time but kinda shy didn't want to sing in front of people then she did jr high talent show blow the school away and been asked many times to do functions .she did national anthem for our city new baseball team I told the school to announce it after I took her out early that day to get her an outfit she was 7th grade

I am a retired professional opera singer and voice teacher. I can attest that this boy's gift is rare indeed. To sing the range of this piece, a cappella, and with flawless pitch ,as well as solid technique and connection to his heart... WOW.
Oh come on!!! He is a child....I too am a professional conductor and trumpet player...the boy did an excellent job...I doubt the ears of you two bit critics...for shame.
A little child shall lead them...this little boy sang that song with more respect and emotion than any adult I've ever heard. And it's so heart warming to see and hear all the MEN cheering this young man on and all the high fives and fist bumps afterwards. You could see that really touched that child.

Wow, I’m not an American. I’m an Aussie 🇦🇺 but I love hearing any American sing the USA Anthem. The fact that an entire crowd stands reverently, quietly, you could’ve heard a needle drop. This young lad was remarkable. He showed courage, to stand in front of family, friends and strangers and sing unaccompanied, takes great strength. He sang with passion and from his heart. It was emotionally driven. I had chills run up my arms a few times listening. I hope he continues to sing for as long as he enjoys it. If he is having lessons, keep them up. He is doing great. He should be proud of this accomplishment. Absolutely awesome buddy. 🎉 🇦🇺🇺🇸
Jadon I say this as a mother of two boys, and a singer myself, and as a family of musicians ... you are PHENOMENAL. Your tone of voice, 100% perfect pitch, soulful undertones, and confidence to slay those high notes at the end (chills!) ... this cannot be taught. It can only be felt from within. May your light always shine. (My son also loves sports and singing)
No, he needs voice lessons. Too much vibrato and nerves in his voice, and he started off too low, as in, you could barely hear him at first, don't lie to the kid, he needs practice. He has POTENTIAL to be a BETTER singer, but this boy is NOT ready for AGT and The Voice and American Idol. The judges would tear him apart. I should know, I've been a singer for 38 years of my 41 years on this earth. One hundred percent, NO. You didn't listen right if that's what you think. He has talent, but he NEEDS MORE PRACTICE and needs to be TAUGHT HOW TO SING PROPERLY. His breathing technique was way off, because he was out of breath before the second verse. So, you must not be that good of a musician if you thought he was one hundred percent on point.
I just feel sad for you, as I can see from profile you’re going through some mental health issues which I’m hoping factors into why you felt the need to tear this boy’s singing apart. Adult bullying a young boy and apparently me as well…it’s just, well, so sad. His light will continue to shine despite any attempts to snuff it out.

It is great to see a young man not only do a great job on our national anthem but actually know the words. It is really too bad the gentlemen in the background could not show the same respect by holding their hand over their hearts.
A voice this young and this powerful is why The Star Spangled Banner is the greatest American Song ever written. To think that this anthem was originally a poem is even more impressive!
