Fun fact: The world's strongest kids record is held by two Canadian girls. Rory Van Ulft for youngest person to lift 2x body weight over their head (I think she was age 9 when she did it). Emily Ibanez for youngest person to lift at least 200 lbs over their head (202 lbs at age 11). Those familiar with Rory usually aren't aware she's mainly a gymnast who does weight lifting on the side.
@@KentPetersonmoney thank you! People are just negative. I'm talking about the girl a d how an inspiration she is to her generation. The generation in America are very unhealthy. This is why I don't comment much. People usually don't have anything good to say. I bet it's like anything if you get a child at such a young age to learn then they can learn anything because of their amazing brains at that age.
@BoldLion you know what!!! you are absolutely right!!!!!!!! this young ten year old girl has shown that there's absolutely positively one hundred percent nothing that you can't do once you put your mind to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a person who has a disability but I never never never ever let my disability slow me down!!!!!!!
Y does it says in her channel under "About" that she's from "🇮🇳" when.........? 1. She doesn't even looks like she's from there. 2. All of her online info says that she's from the unpatriotic country that's above the very patriotic country of the "🇺🇸" of which is the one that this channel is from.
These are pretty light rubber plates, probably 5lbs. Don't be fooled by the metal noises they added in post. The entire setup is somewhere around 60lbs.
Sure, they have pretty advanced surgery methods for your knees and other joints nowadays ... Compare what she is lifting to what a full grown trained construction worker may handle because of health concerns.
They are doing her a disservice with the fake metal sound. If the total weight was 133 lbs, then those weights are not metal but some other material, if they had been metal at that scale they'd weight at least 20 lbs each, bringing the weight to over 200lbs. So when the judge asks for the weight one can't help but feel disappointed that it was only 133lbs, because it looks way heavier. So either use smaller metal barbells, or the larger non-metal barbells but without the fake metal sound, it doesn't help the girl to visually deceive the viewers!
shes not on roids.. please dont speak about things you have no knowledge about, it makes you look unintelligent. Rory is well known in the Weight Lifting community.
She was certainly amazing, but I don't see this as entertainment. I don't think she belonged on a talent show and I'm disappointed that the judges voted the way they did.
Huh? What do you mean? If it's something that you're extremely good at then it's a talent. Just because you don't find it entertaining it doesn't mean that it isn't a talent!
@@nickronca1562 I don't think the purpose of talent shows is to show off athletic prowess. An athletic ability can be entertaining, but weightlifting will only appeal to afficionados of that sport. Anyway, we'll have to agree to differ I suppose.
People pay big $ to watch boxing and other sports. When she lifted her leg at the end, that was pure entertainment. Who knows what she has next up her arm.
Inspiring certainly and talented but it is sport, not talent show style entertainment. If the door is open for any type of talent, are they going to have someone sit down for a few minutes and paint a picture of the judges?
