Right. Hearing the truth is a fairytale these days. Sugar is the leading cause of heart disease and heart failure not good cholesterol/LDL. The history of the cholesterol studies are proven to be a botched study that was paid for by the Sugar industry. It's 100% documented Fact. Ne studies are being done now by Cardiologist and all the early studies are already showing high LDL levels are good for the human body. Our Government committed fraud .

Thanks for posting this video. I just got my blood tested last month after being a low fat (no oil, no mock meats, and very very little avocado, coconut or high fat vegetables) vegan for almost 2 years. I'm a 61 year old male, before going vegan I was lacto ovo vegetarian for 39 years. I was pleased that almost always my results came back within the reference range. My LDL was actually lower than the range, sodium was low, RBC was a little lower than the ref. range. PSA screening was in the lower part of the ref range, also had a cologard test that also came back with no abnormalities. It was great to see the doctor go through your results and explain them, thanks! I'm super happy with going vegan, I love the food I eat now!

Low RBC is dangerous: 'A low RBC count may indicate anaemia, bleeding, kidney disease, bone marrow failure (for instance, from radiation or a tumour), malnutrition, or other causes. A low count may also indicate nutritional deficiencies of iron, folate and vitamin B12' And low sodium is dangerous: 'Low blood sodium is common in older adults, especially those who are hospitalized or living in long-term care facilities. Signs and symptoms of hyponatremia can include altered personality, lethargy and confusion. Severe hyponatremia can cause seizures, coma and even death.'

Great video Derek and Dr.Nagra. Glad to hear that a slightly low count on white blood cells is quite common on plant based diets. I was wondering what was wrong 😅

Great video, I need to do one of these more comprehensive blood panels, (at 61:-), I've found that doing the right workouts is the greatest determining factor in building and retaining muscle. I'm amazed at my age that I can effect my body composition so easily still. Great video, keep up the good work, Good to have Dr Nagra explain the finer details as well.
