I searched for "is a 4C dailyable" and came across you in the semi-early days. Love your production values, passion and authenticity. Long may it continue!
I think Tony nailed it right at the beginning when he said viewers revere you as one of the BEST automotive RU-vidrs in this space. I for one agree as I feel the likes of Shmee are always off looking at other people's garages these days with the likes of Pagani's and Koninsegg's and the likes which let's face it although are nice, are unrealistic dream cars where as you keep it more real, honest and friendly. I much prefer catching your video's over other peoples each week and often skip Shmee's and others, but always catch yours.
Discovered STG with 4C's videos with Seb, but I subscribed when you got your F-Type. You quickly went from "a nice channel I am happy to look at sometimes" to "best channel of RU-vid" as you improved quality. I can't picture YouTUbe without you nowadays. It really feels like a happy place !
Long time viewer here. Congratulations on 10 years. Awesome journey watching your channel grow, Tony has been a welcomed edition. Non stop laughs, got me though some tough times. Looking forward to the next 10 years.
Huge congratulations mate. Been watching your videos religiously since around the time when the OG F-Type was on the channel and you've given me so much entertainment over the years. Looking forward to seeing what the next 10 years brings.
Drive the World is probably what got me into your channel. You have been my most consistently watched automotive youtuber since then. I did watch Mr. JWW also for some time in between but your content and everything about it from the story, the visuals, the personality really, really gelled with me for some reason. I can't say why. Its been great to see you grow during that time and achieve everything you've done. Let's see what's next to come. Your Laferrari video last week was just really really enjoyable and reminded my why I love your channel as well. Hopefully you keep doing the Behind the glass tours for plently of time to come so that one day I can also join in.
Happy birthday STG! Been watching you guys for years and it's one of my go to channels on RU-vid, all the best and let's celebrate another 10years mate 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I saw a couple of 4C videos and a couple of your Jag videos and then started to follow your RU-vid STG channel. Been following for 6 years. I just enjoy your passion for motoring.
Been your subscriber since early 2016. Literally watched 99.9% of the videos. I’ve basically seen you grow and evolve creatively and a bit personally (I suppose). It’s good to see you reflecting on how the job changed and what you want to do next. I must admit: I do struggle to watch the latest videos. They’re beautifully shot, but I can feel somehow that you’re not as excited as you were at the beginning (and it’s not necessarily a bad thing!) so I’m very happy to hear you’re considering a change in pace and direction and I’ll be here for the next 5 or 10 years. 🙏🏻
Omg can’t believe how time flies, I have been here since the 4c days, I enjoyed all your trips( eurotrip, modball, vlogangeles, vlogari, around the world and all the videos along the way) I am happy to see the progress and how far you have come 10 years later and you are still my favourite automotive RU-vidr ❤
I’ve been a follower of the channel for 9 1/2 years. I’m not sure how long I’ve been subscribed but I know that the first video of yours I seen was following the laFerrari through London. I love following your journey through the years and hope to see you grow and change through many more to come. I’ve always dreamed of being able to meet you on one of your drives, maybe one day that’ll happen. Keep up the amazing content. I look forward to you every week on my feed and now that life has changed so much me and my two kids watch you every Sunday that you upload. They can’t wait to see what Sam’s gonna do next.
Been following since the 4C, been a pleasure to watch you grow up from across the pond. Always look forward to Thursdays and Sundays. Stay awesome lads!
Congratulations on 10 years. I think I've been watching for 7 or 8 years now and definitely look forward to you content (the main channel and here). I've really enjoyed watching your adventures.
Must be ace to have this visual record of your early adult life/career. Most people just have snippets of memories of places they've been & things they've done.
Happy birthday lads, From my pov, the biggest improvement through the years, and that apply to every channels on RU-vid, is the sounds recording. The pictures were somewhat ok, considering the available potatoes used at that time, but the sound was almost always crappy. I took everyone of you, content creators, a long time considering it. Well done surviving this rodeo, and on to the next decade.
Watching since end of 2014. I had just gotten married and changed occupations, and have loved watching the journey and evolution. Here’s to many more adventures and memories mate
This was a great episode. Having been around since the 4C days it was wild to see how many of these videos I remember. The story about meeting your wife was hilarious.
You put on your best MTV Sweet Sixteenth Party voice when you’re excited and bashful. Asides that congrats, your content is a very watched and enjoyed thing. You’ll get and fully deserve a million and more subs, well done for sticking to what’s worked for you and making it work for you. Don’t change that, you’re your USP. Tony as Michael Aspel was something to!
I remember the exact video you made where you met your now wife so I have Been a long time viewer and it’s been a wonderful ride. Cheers mate to such a great channel!!
Aaah this is great. I started watching in the early 4C days but still funny seeing some of those clips that I don't remember. The first clip with Tony was gold.
As i said before and I'll say this countless of times, sam, shmee and misha are the three car RU-vidrs that I've been following since day one and they are the most consistent, congrats on 10 years here's to another 10 ❤ hopefully tony don't get bored 😅
Sam people watch you for you and your personality! I’m a car guy for sure but for me the entertainment factor of your VLOGs totally outperform the cinematic shots or the fact you’re in America etc… keep it up!!!
I came across the channel when the 4C had its little “incident” 😂 I’ve loved every second of every video since. Thank you for doing what you do Sam. Love from India ❤
Please apply to be one of the new Grand Tour hosts. You're perfect for it. Jeremy Clarkson even said the new host should be a young car guy who knows his stuff. Hell, you Seb and Paul on these long adventures would be a riot
I really enjoy watching your favorite videos from 2017. I wish you would set up a playlist for other years because you get the chance to see older videos you might not ever notice. The videos from 2017 are so good, and I'm sure there's more great videos from other years.
Sam if you talked to people in the comments section of your RU-vid channel you might think of the viewers as more of people rather than just numbers. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you like or reply to a comment on your main channel. Not attacking by the way, just saying what I’ve seen. We get a lot of great feedback and info from our subscribers and it’s rewarding to see the engagement.
He did for the first time I ever seen it and I am subscribed since the first monacco road trip, 2 weeks ago to a comment like yours here funnily enough.
I think the first video of Sam’s I watched was a car spotting one in the Audi TT, wasn’t an immediate subscriber but was at some point between that and the 4C, funnily enough I’ve never subscribed to schmee or SoL, JWW, Archie etc, etc. I’ve always been a car guy so it’s always car content of all varieties. Always enjoyed what Sam’s put out and sure I will in the future, maybe some collabs with the new breed of RU-vidrs might be fun, you could always collab with the lunatics on AutoAlex with his 360 😂
Equally Tony - you’re an entertainer and a personality! This content is fantastic and I look forward to it every week. Keep it light hearted! Love the 2017 Panamera Sam … doesn’t need to be the brand new super cars etc etc
I have been trying watching since the 4c days.. The very first RU-vid video I ever saw was one of Tim’s. I have seen most of the collab videos and have now met everyone except Tim and Seb
I did not bump into your algorithm until you bought the Cayman. I still enjoy randomly picking an old video of yours to "catch up" as well. You lit up a bit when you were talking about the silly video you made about the rainy day at the house. I agree you cannot do that regularly, but I think people would enjoy a yearly April fool's day silly video for you to have some fun. Like this so Sam sees it! :P
First watched your videos where you were slagging the m3 csl, it was a blood-bath back then. Sam should do one on the new m4 csl's just to continue the bit 😂
I remember all this those monaco trips were very entertaining, bit new style of videos is way more professiobal and mature. Camera work is allways gerting better also you are evolving and congrats for 10 years
Yeah the expected level of video quality now is way higher with full production teams now making RU-vid videos. I am building my dream V12 supercar with the OG zonda engine 😎
Sam I know it'd take a lot of effort to edit but to celebrate 10 years how about a 20 min or so montage clipping up some of the best bits from the last 10 years?? Be amazing to watch 👍🏻
I'm very new to this channel and really like it. As I understand the guy on the left sells cars but what does the dude on the right(Sam?) do for a living?
Sam you are right drive the world was at the time a bad corelation, not only the amount of content but also it somehow didn't hit like vlograri did something with you felt off. I at the time couldn't and still can't put my finger on it
Happy Birthday STG!! A huge achievement and one to be very proud of! I'd be interested to watch the history of STG; I can't remember if I've seen it! I couldn't find the link though!
I wondered if Shmee didn't want the competition around him. As you all had grown so much maybe he didn't want you guys learning anymore from him. His channel had grown much bigger than the rest of you and it was in his best interests to separate himself from the rest of you, but I could be wrong.
@@nayanmonibora3212 I agree. It worked out for the best in many ways the guys going their own ways. Shmee just comes across to me as a bit competitive with other automotive RU-vidrs.
