Curze was more about Justice than the Lion. Like the whole thing about Curze was Justice but he got it super twisted from his birth and planet.

Of the 9 Legions to turn traitor, 3 actually didn’t Worship/Fall to Chaos…..during the Heresy at least. The three were the Iron Warriors, Night Lords, and the Alpha Legion.

And we don't even know if Alpha Legion is actually Traitor. Alpha Legion is weird like that.

@@andraskovacs5431 Vulcan and the Kahn. While canon Vulcan get´s kinda depressed or at least very gloomy to the end of the Horus Heresy he is one of the most mentally stable Primarchs. And looking at what he went trough it´s kinda impressive that he didn´t went mad. VULCAN LIVES! Stomp stomp

As someone who loves mythology, that book was great. I loved how much Arthurian lore they fit in.

Each of the Primarch isan aspect of the Emperor is a maybe at best. There is a theory that on Moloch, the deal Big E made with the Chaos gods is that he will take 20 minor warp entities with him. I mean if he has full control over making the Primarch, he will just make 20 Guilliman and human would have conquered the next galaxy by now

@@ericmacrae6871 Well, he was one of the first so he didn't have much competition at the start. Other than that, he does dive really deep into subjects, and also into subjects that there are few videos about like badab war, vraks, etc. so he does fill a certain niche. But I for one don't understand why so many people hate his politics. Apart from him having a thing for racist jokes, his beliefs could be summed up as conservative liberal. If you look at his interview with The Golden One, a known nationalist, he pretty much disagrees with him on almost everything.

@@fanta4897 I despise conservatism. Conservatism and fascism always goes hand-in-hand and Arch as shown this multiple time. Even Majorkill made a video that demonstrated how fascist policies. Also for the record I am a Christian libertarian socialist. So for him crying about wokism all the bloody time is just a typical fascist talking because he just wants to be a bigot and cannot stand how things changes.

@@ericmacrae6871 It can go hand in hand, but not always since fascism can have a more socialist and progressive twist too (hell, even in WWII the fascist countries were to some extent concerned with breaking some of the old ways like powerful nobility culture which isn't conservative or traditionalist at all). @@fanta4897 fascism has no progressive or socialist twist period. Fascism is always about the conservatives establishment maintaining the status quo while crushing the left. I despise fascism because I deal with reality and fascist never want to deal with reality even taught they always cried about personal responsibility. I'm a socialist because I want to deal with reality and I will not let fascist descriminate agaisnt other people because they have their feeling hurt. In fact, it is always the socialist who has always fought for human rights. While conservatives as always fought agaisnt it because they want to oppress others.

I mean heck, they had/potentially still have several lobotomized Men of Iron. Just to put into perspective how powerful these things are, during the Heresy the Lion had to fight a Forge World (basically early Dark Mechanicum). Due to the Mechanicum having super tech at their disposal, they were causing real problems like hacking the Dark Angel’s vehicles and weapons. In response to this, the Lion tells his forces to pull back to predetermined defensive positions and then simply said “Unleash the Excindio”. After he gives the order, the Invincible Reason (his Gloriana flagship) simply detaches part of its hull (not a drop pod, a literal chuck of the ship) and drops it onto the surface. This section of the ship was where the Excindio were locked away and it contained 12 of these things. The Lion then proceeded to lead these 12 mechanical abominations against the traitors (who were helpless against such a foe since none of their scrapcode or usual methods worked against the Excindio), and after the dust settled and the planet was conquered, 7/12 were still operational (albeit still beat up, but not completely wrecked).

You can actually use one of them in the Horus Heresy game apparently

he was augmented but did not recieve geneseed. to say he was just as strong as a regular human is kind of misleading when he was more akin to a one in a million peak human athlete pumped up to the gills with roids. luther was nowhere near as powerful as a spacemarine but he would curbstomp 99% of regular humans in physical ability.

Eh, not quite. Caliban was a world where the veil between reality and the Warp was thin in places, but the Calibanite Lions were each positioned near these areas and kept people away through threat of violence, inadvertently helping the people of Caliban remain pure and uncorrupted. Based on what information is given, the Lions weren't daemons, nor were they Warp-corrupted, but each one was a unique genetic monstrosity, and it's implied that since the amount of Calibanite Lions never really changed despite the notion that actively hunting them was virtually impossible before Jonson's campaign against them, the Calibanite Lions were both biologically immortal and unable to breed with one another, as the physiology of each Lion was unique; it's actually a bit of a misnomer to describe the Calibanite Lions as such because it's established that very few of them actually resemble lions, and no two were quite the same. This suggests that the Calibanite Lions were deliberately created to patrol the Warp-tainted areas of Caliban and keep humans away from them, and it's noted that with the Lions gone the influence of the Warp and Chaos took over quite rapidly, even though Caliban, Luther, and those who would go on to become The Fallen were quite isolated from the Horus Heresy, hence why the spread of Chaos among The Fallen was surprisingly limited despite them obviously going Traitor. It's also noted that the Calibanite Lion Zahariel fought was an oddity because it was an exact 1:1 match for another Lion that had already been killed, which if memory serves me correctly was the first Lion that Jonson himself killed during the campaign against the beasts of Caliban. As for the Knights of Lupus? They found out that the Lions were important to the safety of Caliban and The Order just couldn't wipe them all out, but they didn't know the specifics and, more importantly, they couldn't convince Jonson of their reasoning and openly rebelled against him as they had started developing a religion of sorts surrounding the Calibanite Lions and were probably being influenced by some Chaos artifacts in their possession; artifacts Luther himself kept and later used during his insurrection. As for Jonson trying to cover up the Chaos taint on Caliban by killing the Lions and the Knights of Lupus? Well Jonson may have had good instincts and recognized them as a threat, but he didn't know what Chaos was at the time or that its presence would be mark against him. Moreover, Mortarion and Lorgar came from worlds infested with Chaos, quite literally in the case of Mortarion's homeworld of Barbarus, and that fact was not held against them. In fact it was a mark of pride and honor for the Emperor, as it demonstrated that his Primarchs recognized Chaos as a threat and actively fought against it wherever they could. And if that wasn't the case, killing the Calibanite Lions didn't actually solve the problem of Warp taint, it just removed an apex predator from the wilds of Caliban, and it actually made the taint worse because now Chaos was slowly starting to pollute the world from its wilder reaches; something the Emperor would have immediately picked up on and brought to Jonson's attention if it was so serious for the presence of Chaos and the Warp to be a potential death sentence for a Primarch.

You're saying Calibanite Lion in a Plural sense - The Calibanite Lion was a single specific creature The creatures as a whole were refered to as the Great Beasts, and it a point made clearly that no 2 are alike As for them not being Daemons or Warp Corrupted - It's never stated in either way, but to say they are genetic rather than warpspawned makes no sense on a number of counts, For one the entirely unique aspect of them would not make sense if they where genetic creations, For two it's a point made that they have the ability to shift and phase through solid matter - either to avoid strikes, bypass armour are close on enemies - this is an exact 1 for 1 description match to how the Ultramarines on Calth described how resilient daemons where to bolter fire Finally the Implication of the Beasts not being able to Breed Yet there being a 2nd Calibanite Lion is clearly that it was meant to be the same creature - just a daemons with enough strength can rematerialise They weren't described as Daemons in the books as the prior to the Emperor's arrival they would have had no knowledge of the term Daemon to use it - the fact the Wilds where the Daemons where being the thinnest points of the veil doen't imply they where somehow protecting Caliban - It implies they were Daemons that could manifest stably at these Warp nexus' keeping humans away was just a coincidence The Fact the Watchers in the Dark are listed as members of the Kabal, and Vehemently anti-chaos and repeatedly help Zahariel in tracking the beasts further lends to this The Nights of Lupus - You're missing the key part of why they started to collect the great beasts Their organisation was lead by Cipher, or rather the Cipher at that time, with it being heavily implied that he was aligned with Chaos Bear in mind that in the initial Dark Angels books it was intentionally kept vague as to if the Lion was really a loyalist deep down - that was only walked back later It's heavily implied that when he was a child in the forest the Lion communicated with the Watchers in the dark - It's more than possible that he would know of how chaos actually worked, hence why he was never surprised in Imperium Secundus by the Word Bearer's daemons With regards the Emperor viewing it as a mark of pride when a Primary fought off warp aligned entities - there is a world of difference between Barbarus where there was a race of psychers that could be killed and Caliban, which was fundamentally a warp touched world where the veil wanes. If the Emperor had have seen the Great beasts and worked out that there was no saving the planet
