Hello so I’m actually 13 and am starting to save! I just made envelopes on my biggest saving goals such as (Save till 250$) or (Christmas Money) but yeah love you channel
OMG you just don’t know how happy that made me. The things I wish I had known had 13 that I know now. I started working when I was 13 our city had a summer youth program. I would be a millionaire and retired if I knew about saving and investing then. Thank you so much for watching and keep educating yourself. 😊
I came up with one on my own 😁 all I did was put $250 to the side monthly for 1 year and it added up to $3000 , just did it for fun & when I counted it all up, I was shook! alil does go along way in 1 year 🙌🏻 And about them students loans 🤦🏼♀️ GIRL DONT REMIND ME 🤣 And girl there’s no small money $$ any money is good money baby👍🏻 Now I wanna do the $1 $ the $5 challenge 🙌🏻
That's exactly what I do. Although I save $500.00 monthly. In one year, it would be $6,000.00. But my saving is ongoing and I won't stop at the end of the year. Anyways, at the turn of March 3rd my Savings would be $8,800.00. My short term goal is to reach $10,000.00 and then I'll put a money wrap around it. Plus, I did turn all smaller denominations into $100.00 dollar bills so that I can put a money wrap around it. I'm also doing the 1's and 5's saving challenge. And when I was counting the 1's in the box, I saw a $1.00 star note. Not sure how much these are, but they're usually more than $1.00.
Congratulations on your achievements! I'm currently doing the 52 weeks savings challenge which started October 1, 2021! Already saved up to December 3rd! Plus, I have separate Savings, Vacation Envelopes for some property I own in Arizona which is going to be my retirement spot in the future!

I'm gonna do the $5,$10,$20 Challenge for 6 months first and if it goes well for 52 weeks & the $1 a day, All three of my kids are doing the $5 a week for 52 weeks. I also wanna do a no spending 2 months starting in Febuary 1 to April 1, so shopping or unnessecery spending only bills and food.
Hey Er'body 🙋🏿 I'm new here too but it is so very refreshing to share space/time with like-minded people. I'm a 57 yr old woman, my work as a parent coach requires me to work with young women creating pathways to success in life. Unfortunately most of them seem more focused on TODAY and buying designer clothes, accessories and even "buying bodies" (cosmetic surgery) than saving for theirs or their children's futures. I've tried to start savings clubs to no avail. But hey, I have a no judgement, 'to each her own' attitude but it's sure nice to be in spaces like this! Looking forward to receiving and sharing more ideas! 💜
I started out with two sinking funds emergency/vacation life happened and I used all my vacation but I did save 90 in emergency funds and I'm not beating myself up about it I learned that instead of saying what I couldn't do God showed me I could save something next year will be better I started out by trying to fix my debt and decided to challenge myself I'm actually glad I did it.
You rocked that. It is a blessing that you had it saved to use. That’s the blessing in savings, you never know when life will happen. You will have overflow this year
I DID MINES A LITTLE DIFF. I HAD 100 ENVELOPES. I COUNTED BY 2'S ON EACH ONE. WHATEVER NUMBER IS ON THAT ENEVLOPE I DOUBLE IT OR TRIPLE IT. IT'S OK TO JUST PUT THAT AMOUNT (ONLY).
I STARTED THIS CHALLENGE 1/1/2021 AND I'M 32 DAYS IN. I'M ON WEEK 48 ALREAY. I'M DOUBLING AND OR TRIPLING MY ENVELOPES. MAY 7TH IS THE 100TH WEEK/ DAY (HOWEVER YOU WANNA CALL IT LOL) IT LOOKS LIKE I'M GOING TO HAVE MORE THAN 10K BY MAY. I LOVE THIS CHALLENGE.
I did the 5 dollar challenge this year, I saved 855 dollars, Next year I'm doing the 5 dollar challenge, and 100 cash envelope challenge, or the 50 cash envelope challenge
I’m starting my 100 envelope challenge with my mom so I can work on paying off my student loans before I start law school and gain even more! 😂 but I loved your video, I really love how you said “I’m not mad at that. I hit the goal I wanted for myself and savings is savings!” I appreciate that :) will be watching more!!
Honestly this is more confusing to me I’ll just stick to the 52 week challenge putting in $100 a week in by the end of the year you’ll have $5,200 I think it’s less confusing
@@The_Mysterious_Saiyan because some people just spend if they don’t have a plan in place. Saving challenges become a part of your budget. You don’t have to do this one it’s 100s of savings challenges out there. This is just one of them that I do

Great job! I am starting 2 challenges this year. The 100 envelope and the $5 challenge. This will be the start of my husband and I saving for our first home! This video is super motivating!
My way of back door saving is I never spend any change. It all goes into 2 containers. Silver separated from pennies. Also, I never spend any $5s or $1s. I allow myself a certain amount of cash each payday for ‘incidentals’. Routine: I have a $20. I break the $20 at the grocery store; get $16 in change. The $10 goes back into my wallet. The $5 and the $1 get thrown into a drawer, not straightened up, not counted, they go into the drawer the exact way I pull them out of my pocket. I’m not saving, in this manner, as much now during the pandemic because I’m working from home, but I’m not spending as much either. Therefore, I think I may be able to handle this one. I plan on buying a house next year, so, I can do this 100 day challenge 3 times this year and add $15k to what I already have, that will get rid mortgage insurance.
Sounds like a good plan. I have an electronic bank jar that I put all my change into and I throw my $5 bills in a jar. Check out my video on my $5 challenge 😊
I love your program. After the pandemic came along I stopped buying Starbucks coffee which I was addicted to. Currently I have multiple envelopes that I am saving funds in. I like how u use regular envelopes. I thought everything had to be new and fancy . But I like how u just use standard white envelopes
My lord this aint nothing but some motivation for me. My mom is moving in with me also once I get my home and I told her the same thing... mommy just live you deserve it.... I had to subscribe when I heard those words!!!!

This is a great idea I like how you put 4 together and use those 4 a paycheck. I’m doing it as well but I like how you put them together. Im at $1000 so far I pulled my high numbers first but definitely going to mix it up like you do. Thanks for sharing
Girl, don't be mad at all. You did away better than i thought you did. I was guessing that you saved 3 thousand dollars. I am new to the whole envelope challenge so i don't really know the full amount that you are supposed to be saving but i am going to try this challenge out. I am currently working on a few other challenges as well. I am working on the ones challenge, the fives challenge and a few others. Good job and i hope the best for you on your other challenges in the future.

Hi happy Sunday! I am doing the 52 wks of the $10 and $5 then put it at the end of the next year to my 30,000 debt in just credit cards. It is very scared because I prefer pay off my debt. But im not to follow Dave Ramsey as he said that you pay off your debt before doing sinking funds. But im doing a good amount with sinking funds and debt so I can pay off as much for Dec 2021
I first started saving in 2018 it was the 52 week challenge because I was so backed up in credit card debt. And I just need to pay off those card so I never did complete to the end but I was saving got up to about 2000 got most of the cards paid off. But since then i been hooked . So I’m all out of debt and now doing like 4 challenge in 2022. 30k. $10k 100 envelope challenge and 26 week $20 dollar challenge which is $7,020 at the end. I haven’t touch nothing from either challenge. I’m not rushing anything and I put away for my 30k every other week $300.00 so on 11/4/22 I will be adding that $300. 00 and I will be at 3k my 10k. Im about to hit my 1k with that one. The other is doing well. 30k is for a new home deposit so in no rush. Keep up the good work and whatever u can put away is something.
I am using my savings for my home purchase and am not sure how it will change my savings. Moving in my new home in January. I will however continue my $100 a month each in both vacation and Christmas clubs, the $52 week change, $1 a day and the throw it in the bucket (whatever extra or overflow goes in this jar). I was blessed with $350 for Christmas, I will put $200 of that towards one of these plans for 2021! You did that and that’s big to me. Believe me it will take what you have saved cause girl but it’s worth it
I did this challenge the 100 envelopes savings challenge but I started late. So I zeroed it out today so I can restart it next month. $1 Savings Challenge, $5 Savings Challenge, 7 days of week challenge with you, coin challenge and I purchased the Budget Mom Savings challenges Course
I plan on doing a $5 challenge 52 week one and any spare notes from shopping just put away for the year in a seperate envelope also anything I sell through the year on market place eBay or buy swap sell like old toys of kids exc rather than spend it put it away for the year and not touch it and see how much that gets to

I did the 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 challenge and I saved 150 every pay day. I'm gonna do the 100 envelope challenge because that's a challenge I would like to do as well 2021. So inspiring!
@@tonyagemini so on the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th and 30th, you put that amount away on those days. Totaling 105 every month. At the end of the year you save $1260. I got the idea from Treasure_budgets. It's a fun way as well. My daughter and I started it when she got her job.
I find it much easier to just have the money taken out of my paycheck automatically…. I put the size withdrawal to be equivalent to former debt/bills (like former credit card bills etc). I put that money into investments.
Girl!! I got $120k in student loans. My payments are $934 a month. I have paid off around $35k over a few yrs (I just finished in 2018 and went income based on payments for two yrs so my payments was next to nothing). My principal is $80k the rest is all interest!! They rack that on ya!
@@angelbabe1977 they got us paying like it’s a house instead of just an education that shouldn’t be this expensive. We shouldn’t have to pay interest let alone amortized interest
@@tonyagemini my student loan is almost the same as my mortgage. I hear a lot of "you went to school and took on the debt, it's your responsibility to pay that debt". I whole heartdly agree it's our responsibility, but what they fail to tell you is how horrible the interest is and how quickly it grows, literally daily!!! Even our home mortgages don't grow daily like our student loans do.

I was just thinking, why not make a 10x10 table in Word, put 1-100 in each square, print, cut and pull 4 each month. My husband would pull 4 also. Put the 8 squares you've pulled in an envelope with the corresponding money. Saves writing on envelopes and saves 2 bucks buying them.
@@killakat6544 sounds like a lot of work lol. I can get a box of 100 fir about a dollar but I use envelopes in my work so I have the bulk boxes. Writing on the envelopes is quicker to me ijs 😂 but do what works for you
I did and still am doing the change challenge and 1.00 challenge this year will cash everything in next Thursday. For 2021 I’m doing the change challenge, penny challenge, 1.00 challenge, 5.00 challenge and the 52 week challenge.
I just finished the video. Yes for 2020 my husband was furloughed for a few months but once he went back to work I was able to establish our emergency fund and fully fund it. Plus get one month ahead in all of our expenses and open another savings account and start contributing to a year’s worth of expenses. Along with doing the change challenge and 1.00 challenge. So for 2021 I was like, if we hit and completed all of the stuff I wanted to start in 2020 with an interruption in employment then surely we can step up our savings goals for 2021. So I am ready and also excited to see how much change and 1.00 bills I saved. We are a family of 5 on one income. I give all Glory and Honor to Jesus Christ for giving me the mind to start saving and buckle down. We never know what tomorrow or the future holds. So we have to be good stewards over whatever amount of money and other stuff that the Lord gives to us.
I leave my savings in my bank account but I want to get extra savings out of my budget.nim going to try your day of the week challenge, I think I can squeeze $28 per week out of my personal and fun/misc budget.
@@kasmirapeterson3859 oh sorry lol it’s a year challenge. You fill 2 envelopes a week or in my case 4 envelopes every 2 weeks all year. I stoped right at the end of November and stuffed the last 8 I had left
Because I’m ready to buy a home. I’ll be 50 this year and never owned a home when I think of all the rent I have been paying. I’m paying somebody else mortgage when I could be paying my own and having all the advantages of home ownership. The only debt I have is student loans and if I wait til all that is paid to buy a home it will be forever 😂 don’t get it twisted though I’m still paying on my student loans
Every pay period I randomly select 4 envelopes and whatever number is on the outside of the envelopes I total it up and just put it all in one envelope and rubber band them together so I know those envelopes are together
I'm definitely doing the 52-week challenge and a $5 challenge and I'm debating on whether I can do $100 a week or month challenge for 2021 I didn't do any challenges in 2020
Really the cash envelope system is to help you stop over spending and save for things that may occur so you have it instead of struggling to get it or not pay a bill to pay for unexpected things like car repairs or saving up for beauty gas etc. watch my cash stuffing videos I think it will help you understand 😊
I did the change challenge and the 5.00 challenge I was doing pretty good but I had some emergency. So for 2021 I want to do the envelope challenge and maybe the 1.00 challenge.
Hello I am 37 years old and I am doing the challenge also and I am also doing it in a multiple of 3 in case I should have to use one I do not start over again because I have a back up. My question is this what is the best way to avoid being a failure with the challenge?

A lot of traders and holders had huge losses during the bear market because they entered the market probably at the wrong time and some losses due to lack of knowledge of crypto currency ad don’t know when to buy, sell or hold. This has been the case with most traders/investors including I until I got involved with an expert.
Well if you’re having it we are only doing 50 envelopes instead of 100 envelopes and you get $5050 for 100 envelopes that would be if I do the math correctly which I think I have would be $2525 because it would be half of the 550
