NB: At point 2.42 "我的" (Wǒ de) is wrong. It doesn't mean "my name is...". It only means "My" (我的). My name is can be either "我的名字是" (Wǒ de míngzì shì) because "我的 = Wǒ de (my); 名字= míng zì (name) ; and last 是 = shì (is). However, you can also say 我叫 ....." (Wǒ jiào ....). This is translated as I am ...... (as in my name is../I am .. then your name). There's also a longer version. This is why one has to access more than one resource when learning Chinese because I've noticed that every resource gets something wrong and best to go with the majority of native tutors then you can't go wrong!
This is absolutely brilliant - perfect just what the learning Mandarin doctor ordered for beginners. I initially found the version without any PinYin and this is brilliant as now one can know exactly how to pronouce the words using the very important tones. I'm using so far this, David Yao and Growing Up With Chinese resources. All excellent for beginners. 非常感谢你 (Fēicháng gǎnxiè nǐ).
Aprés le suivi de cette vdeo, relative à l'apprentissage de la langue chinoise pour les débutants,ma premiére remarque,à propos du langange il n'est pas difficile, mais l'écriture est trés compliquée,elle demande une bonne concentration,et beaucoup d'effort, pour arriver à la maitriser c6nvenablement,je tiens à remercier l'animatrice pour sa clarté dans la présentation du cours et particulierement la bonne prononciation.
good lesson, clear and slow, may I suggest speak in normal speed like Ren chi ne hen gao xing after the slow phrases, so I can experience the normal speed in the public.
Unfortunately the syllables are not pronounced together as whole words in this video. If you copy this pronunciation you will sound very strange indeed.
Don't worry, this is definitely Mandarin. I'm a beginner but not totally a beginner nearing elementary level. I've learnt this phrase very well and more than one competent Chinese Mandarin tutorial resources have said that it can be said either way. So your way is correct and the way this tutorial put it is also correct.
Is this lesson a consonant, Or vowel? I do want to learn consonant first than learn vowel so can know of how to write a words. So Please teach the learner consonant first than teach the learner vowel. This description is as learn English.
chinese don't have alphabet/consonant/vowel. the writing system is like wo, ni, ta, bu, ma etc with different tones and each tones will have different meaning.
+Ashkoren WELL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! Stupid. This is for BEGINNERS. Intelligence should tell you that if it's too slow then perhaps may be you might be just a little above this standard and find one appropriate for your standard. Don't come on here and "show off" yet looking like a fool "too slow" when there are a variety of different standards, styles etc available. What is too slow is YOU!
Ashkoren You mean to say that you can't comprehend that this is for beginners which sort of makes you the - well what you said!!!! I'm learning Chinese and this is good as I can use it as a measure to see how well I'm doing at the very basic level. If it's too slow for you just simply move on to something more your level but don't insult it unnecessarily (to make yourself feel good and superior). It's a very good resource.
