David With Love I send this message to you. This too is something which has been on my mind for some time especially with all that I see and hear going on all about me in the live of my dear brothers and sisters. Your insights on the Truths of the Gospel are the Hope of Israel in all dispensations but certainly this one too is important. Some of the trials, disappointments and failures are mentally and emotionally draining. Only a steadfast focus and trust in the Lord and our father in Heaven and his Restored Gospel with his appointed leaders give hope for some of us in this fallen world which appears to be quickly deteriorating around us. I ve herd your reflect upon your journey hear too from time to time. We have callings given us in the premortal world. These callings directly place us in the experiences in this life we go through and share in supporting one another. It hurts me to hear occasionally your view of your life experiences and perceived callings as failure when clearly only by worldly standards this can even be surmised as true. Unfortunately many of us too have taken up this cross in the premortal world also. It’s actually not unfortunate and will one day be known that glory and honor will be given by our father and his son Jesus Christ to those who seemingly are last in the line of those appearing to have praise and honor given to them as the things of this would are hardly seen in this life and like the protocol son or the woman at the well. Our father in heaven sees and knows all. He has reserved such honor and praise and Glory to be showered upon those select and unnoticed sons and daughters who have given their last measure in this world enduring to the end. For such of us the glory praise of this world will very likely never be recognized as we are trodden under the foot of men. The experiences an circumstances are too many to be even addressed but they are many as seen in the world and countries about us. If there is little hope , honor and position in this life for those whom give their last unnoticed measure only the Savior and our father in heaven know of such heroic contributions. The seemingly small and insignificant contributions do not go unnoticed by them. Praise, Honor and Glorie be unto Such. In the name of our lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Your brother in Christ. m(:

Did you ever listen to Bruce R McConkie's BYU address where he discusses the 7 greatest heresies in the church and the 3 greatest heresies in Christendom? It's very bold and brilliant.

Yes I did, but it's been a long time ago. I've forgotten the details, but I remember the title. Thanks for the reminder, I think soon I'll go search it out and listen to it again. I've listened to all of Bruce R. McConkie conference addresses on the church's website, and recall hearing many of them when they were first given in general conferences. As a teenager I loved studying his book 'Mormon Doctrine', and his series of books on the Messiah. Also loved A New Witness for the Articles Of Faith authored by him. As a teen I was blessed to also meet him in person when he preside at my stake's conference.
