Such a lovely video with all your diaries from all you life! Very inspiring! The first thing i'll do now, is trying to find back my own diaries ;-) Thank you for sharing, Luz!!
Such beautiful diaries/art journals! I started writing in a diary at age 8 and still do today. And I love your style - would like to take your course. Thanks so much! 100
@@luzartworks I'm not sure how many diaries = they are not as beautiful and artistic as yours - mine are mostly just writing and ideas. I have a background in fabric also which appeals to me greatly when I see yours!
Yes mine are mostly written diaries as well… except the first one. It’s lovely you do things with fabrics, what do you do? Is there a way to combine it with writing?
@@luzartworks How special of you to take time to respond. I sew a lot - clothes mostly but also quilts and such. I'd love to combine fabric into my journals - Your work is inspiring - thanks so much for sharing.
Ah I always wanted to be patient enough to make my own clothes. My mum used to make my clothes when I was little. So nice you will try tovysw fabrics, I recommend you to use thin fabrics.
Hi and thanks for watching! Until now I've been using the Dina Wakley art journals from the brand Ranger. But I need to be making my own soon, since Ranger stopped producing these wonderful art journals unfortunately... They only produce the Dina Wakley range with only Kraft paper pages. So you can be expecting a video in the near future about making your own journals. I hope you subscribed and clicked the notification bell, so you're automatically notified when I release a new video, at least once a week. Subscribing is totally free of course and I'll really appreciate you following along. Warmest regards from France currently, Luz
I started diaries when my son was born and stopped when he got engaged to be married. I condensed the 24 journals into 75 pages with doodles, drawings, photos, etc. so that he would have a memory book to look at when he is much older. It is probably shoved up in a closet somewhere but it will possibly mean more to him once his parents are gone.
Wow that’s a lovely idea! He’d love to read it one day. I now have some people in my studio who work in a book that’s called ‘Mum, tell me…’ but that’s literally translated from Dutch so I don’t know if this is available in English and what it’s called in English.
