after so many types of diet and crying!! I did my surgery on 27/2/2015 and at first i was regretting it since I LOVE FOOD but with the results im so happy and light!! so far i lost 20kgs (44lb) in 3 months and 30kgs more to go to reach my ideal weight!! if ur BMI 40... DO THE SURGERY!!! your life will change to the better ofc!

cool video Dr. Alvarez! I had my sleeve on Feb. 24th here in Germany (Hamburg)... I have lost about 70lbs in the past 5 months... I am hoping to be at goal by April (my b-day) of 2011... but I really have to work hard if I'm going to get there. Thank you for sharing your patient testimonials. :-)

hi from Turkey. i had surgery last week (April 16, 2013). i had no regrets. i was 157 kg (346,12 lbs). i advice this surgery to morbid obeses.

@yousefq8i Hi! We recommend you don't smoke for the following 21 days after your surgery. Smoking alters the healing process which is something you would want to avoid. I hope this helps with your question. regards, Dr. Alvarez

So basically after a month or two, you can follow any workout program you like? no matter how hard it is? or is there any restriction or more time needed to heal before intense workout? Thanks!

@RQ8Y You can start walking on a treadmill 7 days out but only for 10-15 minutes. It's not until you are 30 days out where you can pretty much do any exercise you like. Hope this helps answering your question. regards, Dr. Alvarez

i'm having surgery in 18 days, i'm scared. i'm not scared of the pain, i'm scared it won't work on me as well as i hope it will. i'm scared that after the surgery i'll lose a little weight and just gain again. let's just hope for the best..
