it definitely felt like this album was more cohesive, focusing on properties to make it sound like actual songs. even with songs like one million dollars, all the songs are amazing and i will continue to support them for however long they make music
this album definitely showed that 1K was not a fluke. Dylan and Laura are a force to be reckoned with and this album is a pop monument. Too good to be true.
excited for thisssss, i loved this album, it’s my 4th fave release so far of this year, 8.4/10 for me better then their first imo, excited to see what you think lol, my top 3 above this is kelela- raven, young fathers- heavy heavy, and carolines album, 2023 has had way more better releases then expected for me at least edit: YES to the 2000s vibe, like a blend of myspace era electropop, crunkcore and pop rock blended with nowadays hyperpop

d&f is such a well crafted punk song i really hope they do more werid punk songs i think they have a lot of potential if they go into a more guerrila toss direction
So far... 1k gecs: 8/10 Tree of clues (remix album): 7/10 10k gecs: 8/10 1k gecs has the highest highs. Tree of clues has some good shit but it has the lowest lows. 10k gecs is overall a very balanced album, even its lowest points i can listen again from time to time and enjoy it. But it doesnt have an absolute banger to give it the slight push i feel it needed to be better than 1k imo Best songs from each album: 1k: HCBAM Tree of clues: nothankyou HCBAM remix 10k: 757 (maybe doritos and fritos)
The album was scrapped BEFORE mememe was released. Tracks like One Two Buckle My Shoe, Fallen 4 Ü, and Can Ü Hear Me Now were some songs that were cut.
