Yup , I also suggest that before you meld 2, 5 yellow skills and you want a cat pet , just make sure that your cat has a high attribute points to get a good skills

Does your cat have any of the passive skills that give harmful effects, such as ignition or ice touch? Somehow, lingering wound stops working for me, not sure if it has something to do with me switched out ignition.

You can meld a salvager to this pet if you find a cat with the salvage trait to meld with

There is about a 1% chance to open one from contracts and from converting regular pets, you can also bid on cheap pets with 170+ stats on the market. Good Luck

@@OmniFlash tks for the info shared. i just manage to meld a blue cat with tenacity, soulshield, rejuvenate, siphon, steelhide and blindside rare skills, but how do i take it to the next step to convert it to a yellow aberrant cat as im fearful of losing this cat

@@louisang8850 you will not make it aberrant. You would get a cat with 170+ stats and go to nisza and choose exchange attributes to give your cat 170+ stats. You will never make your cat aberrant

Well you would have to either buy a cat with 170+ stats or you can make one from converting pets, or from opening contracts. Then you would go to nisza and use the exchange attributes to put the stats on your main cat.

If you meld, the Main pet you choose will keep the traits of the main pet you choose

I was confused by this also. You cannot move the traits to a new pet right? Like I have the Salvage Trait on crappy blue flying pet but I cannot move the Salvage trait to a better pet right? The additional pets you can slot in the stable only give stats from the traits? The skills are only active on the one main pet? Is that correct? Thanks!

@@Wolf462 you can move a salvage trait by melding if you meld 2 pets and choose the pet that has the salvage trait, that is the only way.

No it has to be an ordinary cat that is not aberrant. So No legendary skills only yellow.

if u get max attribute u can get around 36% extra damage with dragon, and its amazing in pvp and pve

I thought lingering wound only works on DoT?

increases damage while the enemy takes damage from the familiar's ability. Thats why dragón is OP, increases dmg for 9 segs

IMO a fully skilled 6yellow skill cat is better than just a savior pet. But just a savior pet is a great way to start

6 blue skills? Then it results in a pet with one yellow skill

@OmniFlash No sorry I meant I meant 6 yellow skills each. I thought rare equaled yellow. Does melding them then make a pet with one legendary skill?

@@berndhase4399 no they will stay 6 yellow. you can however choose which of the 12 you want.

You can't only same pet types

On my server the 5 yellow skill was the cheapest way at the moment! Of course if you have cheaper 2 yellow or 3 yellow pets that would be a good way to go!

That being said you are choosing thr wrong skills. Outside of saviour you are looking for icetouch concuss lingeringwounds. Stuff eg) like steel hide is extremely poor block chance dont proc on crits in pvp everyone is running roiling+ ML. Also the proc chance syncs with pet skill. (Which usually is in offensive motion aka you are not looking for defensive buffs)

Stuff like steel hide is completely useless block dont matter in pvp where everyone is running roiling + ML. Siphon soulshield and all that literally dont matter. Current meta in pvp you die in 1-2s. If you are cced literally 20% of a familiar atk thats like what 10k shield??? How is 10k shielding supposed to help you survive?????? One aa is already 70k ..... and if you get cced you will be eating like 6 of those along with a bunch of skill dmg for a total of maybe 1m dmg, and given your health is like 400k 500k??? Seriously???? How is 10k hp going to help? Tldr for f2p -Saviour is a must -Yellow traits are cheap and a must -F2p can possibly go for saviour plus bonus skills and there will be people who priced them wrongly but will still cost approx 200k plat. - no defensive skill outside of saviour matters, if its a bonus add on to the saviour, ok great but they are not replacements for 3s of invul. I dont have the stats but just eyeballing, saviour saved me (made the difference) probably 40-50% of the time it procs. If im dying 4x avg in a bg it would have been 4 more deaths and a couple of less kills each BG. I understand you need content and controversial takes are good. Just to be clear i lost over 300k plats playing around with pets conversion with stone, without stone, rerolling skills etc. And ended up buying my current one from market (approx 250k), and i still have 2 saviour pets pending sales including a varog. What i am saying is that playing around with pets can get expensive really quickly. Unless you truly believe in this take (that 6 select yellow skills is btr), in which ok, fair enough, else its just irresponsible.

The cat never becomes legendary. It just gets the legendary stats. You can see how to go to nisza and click exchange attributes to transfer the 170+ stats. This pet is a pvp cat and is not made for pve.

My main pet's stats are 179 198 And a pet with only savior is not better than a pet with 6 of the best skills, you can replace whatever with vigorbloom if you want

This cat is stronger than 90% of all aberrant cats
