100+ Heartthrobs of the Past: Then and Now 

Nobody escapes it, but many people still look great as they go through the aging process, and there's definitely some people who age much better. Sometimes genetics plays a role in that, but other times it's as simple as a good diet, healthy habits, avoiding stupid behavior like drugs, smoking and drinking too much. Other factors like learning how to manage stress and as we get older, we learn not to sweat the small stuff and just let go of certain things, so that we don't carry and hold on to a bunch of stupid crap that doesn't matter. Holding onto negativity can really cause a lot of issues with a person's appearance and have a toll on overall health. We all get much more real as we get older, many people don't try to escape it, they just accept it, even go so far as embracing it and keep moving on.

Yes, and some men are even more attractive older then younger🤷

It's double standards...women have to get cosmetic procedures to stay attractive.

Actually, now men are now feeling the pressure as well... but ya,silver foxes.... and us,later,old hags,lol....

I don't agree, I don't find guys in their 50s attractive, a lot of them look like old men. They are still women in their 50s who still look great.

Nothing graceful about old age. They are all ugly now.

@carla5830 Too much "work" done over the years! I AM SERIOUS WHEN I SAY THIS: aging gracefully is a PART OF LIFE! I appreciate everyone au natrale, not "work" to try and look young until you're 90. Aging happens, it's what happens. Get over it.

I agree. some of them just seem to have crumpled, (hard living does that to you) but some of the others, well...=)

Charming and appealing more than handsome. I had a kid crush on him after the first time I saw "The Goodbye Girl." Acting ability plays into it. No, he's no Shaun Connery, but the cup crushing scene in "Jaws" and his facial expressions in "Close Encounters" are cinematic moments that will stay with me forever.
