The corny saying that “youth is wasted on the young” is actually very true. I look at myself in the mirror and ask “who are you and what did you do to me?”
@ patriciarodrigue5778, Very true, you only have that period of youth for x amount of time, and then, time seems to speed up, you're old before you know it! 👩🦳👨🦳
We all age, some age better than others, I know I don’t look like I did in the 60’s and 70’s, aging is a part of life. Sometimes even those that get cosmetic surgery look so much worse than they did before, just age naturally and gracefully
Yes, they looked better young, but most don't look too bad. It is good to see them alive. I have seen so many celebrities pass away since the 1960s. It is such a tragedy.
Being born in 1951 mid year, but, still having a very big part of my life, as many of our era watched all of these brilliant actors/actresses make us laugh, think, sad, mad or down right disgusted with their ability to make us really think they were that person, it's so amazing to think how our world/country has drastically changed (not all for the better) but, it's still good knowing sum of these great people are still with us and for those that have left us, we say: "thank you to the many characters you gave us and may these beloved actors be at peace! 😊
I remember I had a neighbor back in the '80s. She was in her 90's and I can still vividly recall her telling me and my girlfriend that we were in the best time of our lives and not to be in a hurry growing up. Tuesday I turned 60! Ugh. How did this happen?? Haa. Time stands still for no one.
The execution of the concept in your video is truly remarkable, immersing us in the bygone era of 1960s Hollywood and then offering an intimate and inspiring glimpse into the lives of these actors today. *DO YOU AGREE WITH ME*
Youth is, by its very nature, beauty. Many of these have since passed; may they rest in peace. Others are aging well. Many of the Then photos were obviously carefully taken studio shots, and the Now photos are more candid and therefore not particularly flattering. Some Now photos demonstrate the way in which makeup is applied as we age should be changed from the way in which it was applied when we are younger. (Lower eyeliner isn’t ideal on aging eyes!) If we are fortunate, we get the pleasure of living a long (‘ish) life. Life is ultimately short, no matter how many years we live.
@felixalfonso5703 I think he is one of those whose death was announced prematurely. We saw it several months ago, and didn't suspect it was another scam. I am happy to find out we were wrong.
@@dawnbrahm8391Cindy Williams is another actor who also passed awhile ago. Ryan O’Neal passed in December 2023, so probably after the video was made. There were others I am sure had passedbut I wasn’t in the mood to look up more than just Ryan O’Neal because that was so fresh in my mind.
I'm not sure its fair to compare a person's younger looks to today's looks. Everyone ages and plastic surgery seems to be the only key to looking younger.
