I’ve been wanting to purchase a machine for a couple of years now and have had to turn down lots of jobs because I can’t do them on my Brother single needle machine. After lots of research, and despite many negative opinions about not purchasing a cheap Chinese machine, I have learned that the Bai machines are more than just cheap junk machines. They are building a very good reputation with what seems to be a great machine and great customer service and technical service. I can’t wait to purchase my Bai very soon! I hope you will do more videos as there aren’t very many people doing videos on the Bai machines.
I have not had a single regret in buying the Bai embroidery machine. It's comparable to any of the known brand names that I have used. And, like you stated, they are building a very reputable name for themselves. Good luck with your machine!
Thank you for your video. I'm thinking about getting this machine. I would be picking it up. What I'm afraid is it is fairly big and heavy as I'm by myself. I've had a Brother PRS100 for a while now and it's not too big but only a single needle and I have a business.
It's definitely a very large machine. It took 3 gown men to carry mine in and place it where I wanted. Once together and on the stand, it can be rolled around.
It is because of honest reviewers such as yourself that I bought my Bai. The process was smooth and their customer service is like no other. I would say the best I have experienced.
How did you set the machine up. I just bought it and it is so heavy my husband and son could not lift it. 😭It is still in the trailer I picked it up in
Hello!, Just purchased a Vision,.. I was practicing how to operate it, embroidering a large design. I decided not to complete the entire design, so I turned the machine “off”…. The needle happened to stop down, in the fabric. Question: how do I raise the needle up?,.. Question #2: for future reference, how do I stop the machine mid-design?.. thank you!
Just seeing this. If there's steps I choose to skip I just hit the stop button and then choose the thread spool and click to the next step. Same if I want to stop in the middle of the design I just pushed the start button and it will stop. I can go do what I need to do and come back later and hit start again to resume.
Thank you for the review. I keep looking into 15 needle machines and Bai seems to have GREAT customer reviews and a lower price than many other brands. I was curious if you know what that humming/vibrating sound was when you were doing the series of color bars. I’m about 1/2 way through your video now and I don’t hear it on other items you were making.
So sorry, just seeing this! The humming noise was due to me not having the feet/rubber pads engaged against the wood floor enough. lol! After I fixed that it was all smooth from then on. I continue to learn things about the machine with ever use and still love and recommend it after 5 months of using it.
You are amazing with this video!!! Sold me! The company should give you anything you want! I am a quilter and an embroider! I have embroidery all over my quilts. Omgg I love those faces you embroidered! The bees wow, my husband is a bee keeper too. Thank you. I really enjoyed ur video..
Thank you so much! You are too sweet! You won't be disappointed with the quality of this machine. I continue to love mine. Best of luck! And, I do not get anything from the company to promote their machine. I honestly, just love it!
Thank you for letting the machine just do it's thing. Seems like a lot of people just talk and don't let the machine run. I am not a fan of the noise, while it's idle.
I used Louisa Chen as my sales representative through Facebook. My machine was ordered on Alibaba then shipped to Georgia, then on to my address. The groups on Facebook are extremely helpful. You can find Louisa Chen in all the Bai groups along with other reliable sales reps.
I purchased the Vision 1501 and picked it up in Atlanta after Christmas. So far still training and it’s been difficult with time difference. Can you please share where you purchase your stabilizers and how you set machine up for appliqué. Thank you for sharing.
I love the faces! Can I ask where you got it from? Thank you for the review! I just put a deposit on mine yesterday as I moving out of state and will be picking it up when I get to my destination!
All is well, continue to use it all the time. I need to upload some more videos. I have plenty on Tic Tok but haven’t loaded new ones here in awhile. My name is the same on there, just both words together. Come check it out!
I love mine! Only wished I'd known about them a couple of years ago. The machine is wonderful and all the help provided in the facebook groups is amazing.
I usually have mine set to 900-1000 according to what I’m stitching. It will slow down and speed up on it’s own if need be. On an average I probably run around 800.
These machine are meant to self maintain per user. You oil, clean and do maintenance as shown in all their maintenance videos. If you absolutely needed extra help that couldn’t be provided by a Bai technician you could find a dealer that works on Tajima machines. They are built very similar.
Honestly, I’ve not had experience with the caps as I’m not a cap person. The group on Facebook has tons of folks that are, and do very well with them. Check out the groups from other Bai users. They are filled with information.
Hi! Thank you so much for this video. I have a quick question that you may have mentioned and I just didn't hear it, so I apologize in advance if that was the case. lol Anyway, what operating system does it use with regard to embroidery program. I currently use embrilliance for my Brother PE800 and am wondering if it is worth changing brands because I'm already so versed with that program. Let me know your thoughts, suggestions, and maybe what program you use! Thank you so much for sharing!
It does not come with a program but there are several available to purchase. I use Embird and love it. Any digitizing program would work as long as you use the dst file.
This is actually in my home. Mine is on hardwood flooring so I'd say if you had it on a rubber mat it wouldn't be as loud. The video is much louder because my phone is right next to the machine.
I am so happy for You , Yes im also getting ready to buy that machine from @Louisa Chen, your video was very informative, Yes Im convinced I am making the right purchase! I can't wait and ty!!!😍😍😍😍😍
You order straight from your Bai rep. If I needed anything, I’d contact Louisa Chen to help me. I’ve had mine since last June and so far I’ve not ran into that problem.
I do not run mine everyday. I don't own a business. I'm a full time RN during the day. Mine is mostly used on weeks that I'm on vacation or in the evenings for my personal projects. I have ran it for up to 12-16 hours/day during holiday seasons for gifts. It's an amazing machine so far.
Did you order the sequin machine from the company? I’m trying to order mine but I’m not sure if from Amazon or where from? I’m scared that if I order of Alibaba I will get ripped off.
How does this machine handle things like a Kimberbell project? Lots of appliqué and quilting in the hoop. Is it user friendly to add batting, then tack down, cut away, add fabric, tack down, quilt, remove hoop frequently to be able to cut the appliqué close to the stitching line? Projects such as those?
Handles them like a pro! The witch appliqué I did in another video was a SweetPea appliqué table runner design. Very user friendly if you know the basics of a multi-needle machine. You just have to add in the stops so you can add your batting and fabric.
