In a remote part of the Himalayas lies Barang Village. A 30 minute drive from Pokhara, Nepals adventure capitol and second largest city to Kathmandu. Kabi and the family took me in to show me what it's truely like to live in Nepal. We experience everything from food, culture, swimming holes, feeding the animals, dancing and so much more. This is by far one of my favourite films i've made. This is a must do if visiting Nepal and is something i'd love to come back and try again.

Hey Will, your videos are really fun to watch. THe mood and the content are just perfect. But the fact the this video was posted 4 days back (today is March 15, 2024) almost 6 months after last Dashain festival just takes away all the excitement. 2:46 foreigners might confuse 2062 , its 2062 BS in Nepalese Calendar which was around 2005/2006 AD. When the whole world is living in 2024 its almost 2081 in Nepal.

तँ Ta, तिमी Timi, तपाई Tapai, हजुर Hajur all words = You. For elders & respectable person Tapai & Hajur. For youngers than oneself it's Ta & Timi. For rivals to be rude Ta. You should have said Tapai or Hajur to Mother.

@@willpalmeer basically, Kanyam is popular for it's beautiful landscape covered with the tea plants, so you can behold its alluring view. Besides, you can enjoy horseback riding, local foods and diverse culture as well. Talking about Shree Antu, it's basically famous for the observation of sunrise. Apart from this, you can also enjoy paddle boating and many more!!!!!

7:10 it might be wrong information. In my knowledge nobody use the buffalo poop for prayer it must be cow dung . In Hinduism cow is considered to be the holiest animal and almost all products form cow(Urine,dung,milk,ghee) is considered to be the pure and holy. I'm sure that was cow dung.

@@willpalmeer yes foot wears are considered to be the most dirty thing to be worne by people. So wearing it and entering a traditional style or modern style of kitchen is considered a bad habit. I see in the video the nepali guy himself was wearing shoes inside. So, I wouldn't blame you for that.
