I recommend berserk it is a really wholesome manga about a man trying to get his true love to remember him and to also meet his best friend Griffith after a long separation due to work....as I said really wholesome 🙃
My personal favorite manga is Usogui. Just an amazing gambling manga with a wide and complex cast/plot which showcases some truly creative and compelling mind games. Not to mention that the art and framing is quite memorable towards the later chapters
Damn, this video was stacked as heck! I love how precise the recommendations are, it's absolutely awesome! Imma go read 20th century boys finally, been putting it away for waay too long. Also blink twice if the Vagabond people next door are holding you hostage.

"100 girlfriends that really really really really really love you" is a gag harem manga that doesn't take itself too seriously... Each girl might seem to be one note at first glance, but each is given proper introduction and development, and hits really well in most cases. Different dynamics are explored between different characters, not to mention how hilarious the jokes are. Oh and we can't forget the main boy, the man, the chad, Rentarou. I want a boyfriend like him like dayum. There are currently 24 girls and 133 chapters. The anime adaptation is coming and I hope it's going to be great.
When you recommended Mushishi, I just knew you had wonderful taste. It also reminded me that the anime version has my favorite soundtrack of all time! If I could politely recommend a manga for others it would be Kuroshitsuji, it is an older shonen manga now and updates monthly, but it definitely deserves a read if you like mature themes with a good sprinkle of comedy. The best way to describe it would be a chaotic butler manga or so the author says! And I specifically say the manga because the anime did it very dirty and it didn't deserve it...
These 2 are manga ive never seen mentioned anywhere before and i love them a lot. 1. Ura Baito: Toubou Kinshi its about 2 girls that need a lot of money so they do shady part time jobs that involve mystery. it has a vibe to it like no other. i really like everything about it, and it has some terrifying panels. 2. Baka ga Zenra de Yattekuru: the cover is what hooked me because its got a naked guy running. im not gay but that grabbed my attention. its about a writer whose struggling in college, and oneday a naked guy just comes into his life. both are 10/10 and im glad i found them. you probably couldnt find them from video recommendations. both are hard to describe but hooked me from the first chapter
Read Umineko. It's longer than the bible, but it's as good as the VN and definitely Ryushiki07's magnum opus. The questions arc/answers arc format is amazing. You may be able to solve its mystery by its fourth volume if you're saavy enough.
I highly recommend you read “Deuteronomy”. It’s very similar to manga like AOT and Death Note but it’s also takes inspiration from things like Prince of Egypt. It’s very well written so far.
reasons to read record of ragnarok: It has great character design Simple plot but filled with amazing ideas Incredible fights Entertains you the more you read it At least thats my perspective
Hey man just want to say I love your videos on Monster and 20th Century Boy's😊 Curious question will you do a complete story(like your century boys vids) on Billy Bat next?
Id definitely recommend Jagaaaaaaan, The Climber, Hakaijuu, Abara, Gokurakugai, Gokuburi Buster and Ujishima The Loan Shark especially if you like Seinen
I’ve only read a few mangas but my personal favorite is jujutsu kaisen it’s really what got me into anime so I’m super biased but it’s just so weirdly comforting to me and I love it so much
I got dizzy half way just started to blend in...really good recommendations i will definitely add them to my list to read and possibly own. i hope there are videos where its slower and not so rushed thanks
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin - a definitive way to experience the start of the UC saga. Phenomenal art. Changes to the story to rework episodes which they did just to sell toys. New plot threads. It's a lot. Even if you don't care about mecha - it's worth a read. Helck - a humanity hero's turns against it and joins demons. Starts light-hearted and comedic. Develops into a great drama. xxxHolic - just CLAMP goodness. Nana - "ending" gave me a depression. I guess author had it as well, which is why it's never gonna be finished. Golden Kamuy - a gold rush with insane characters and one of the best villains I've encountered. Dungeon Meshi - a party descends into a dungeon on short notice and starts eating monsters along the way. Very careful examination of dungeon ecosystem. The Fable - an assassin has to lay low for a year and shenanigans ensue. Quite realistic art and a tad absurd sense of humour, while being fully grounded. For non-manga - Annarasumanara - it's (not) magic. Duty After School - what if we sent kids to fight aliens. Trauma ensues. Song of the Long March - a fantastic story about a hunted princess, whose throne was usurped and how she tries to take it back. It was dead for many years, but author finally got the rights back and it might get finished in the future now.
1.Shamo, while the story goes dark places it was still incredible motivating for. I think most people dont get these vibes but this manga spoke to personally. Homunculus: incredible surreal artwork and a great deep mystery. Usogui: the most hype non battle battles in manga. The art is also inspirational. Batuque: I love capoeira and this manga is a loveletter to it and has bloody incredible ploting.
He’s finally back thank you for this video it added so many more manga to my list I was wondering if you could do a anime version of this maybe not 109 anime lol but like 20 or so underrated ones but great video
Eyeshield 21 is easily one of my favorites (Which is saying something considering I don't like American football) and the art is done by the same artist as One Punch Man. Highly reccomend!
Great video I would’ve mentioned more series including 1- Emma 2- Historie 3-Land of the lustrous 4-The Rose of Versailles 5-Lone Wolf and Cub 6-Phoenix 7-Witch Hat Atelier 8-Barefoot Gen 9-Battle Angel Alita 10-Message to Adolf 11-Ode to Kirihito 12-Banana Fish 13-Fruits Basket 14-The Summit of the Gods 15-Onanie Master Kurosawa 16-Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō 17-Usogui 18-Omoide Emanon 19-Kaiji (has parts like JoJo) 20-Rurouni Kenshin 21-Uchuu Kyoudai 22-Slam Dunk 23-Ashita no Joe 24-Ping Pong 25-March Comes in like a Lion And well others but I got bored
Delightful video. Great mix of "entry level" easy reads and series that want to give you an experience. Speaking of having an experience, my main recommendation is Land of the Lustrous. A fantastic introspective story about giving life meaning that is reaching its conclusion right now. The other one is Yona of the Dawn. You'll be in for a hard time trying to find a fantasy as good as this one, with Yona being considered by many to be a perfectly written character. This is also an manga aimed at teenage girls, so even more reason to give it a try.
I would like to add some to the list 1. Vanitas no Carte 2. Akatsuki no Yona 3. Made in Abyss 4. Mahoutsukai no Yome 5. Tongari boushi no Atelier 6. Kusuriya no Hitorigoto 7. Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau 8. Houseki no Kuni 9. Toshokan no Daimajutsushi 10. Noragami 11. Yofukashi no Uta 12. Aozora to Kumorizora 13. Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai 14. Ao no Hako 15. Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku 16. Sasayaku You ni Koi wa Utau 17. Kara no Kioku 18. Aragane no Ko 19. Orient 20. Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru 21. Tokidoki Bosotti Russiago de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san 22. Houkago wa Kissaten de 23. Hoshikuzu Drop 24. Owari no Seraph 25. Sousou no Frieren 26. World Trigger 27. Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijou 28. Pandora Hearts 29. Shingetsutan Tsukihime 30. Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashi 31. Yagate Kimi ni Naru 32. Jigokuraku 33. Magi 34. Okyu no Trinity 35. Nijiro Days 36. Short Cake Cake 37. Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai 38. Doushitara Osanajimi no Kanojo ni Naremasu ka 39. Kimi to Tsuzuru Utakata 40. Destroy all of Humanity, it can't be regenerated Also if there all people here who like Light Novels as well I would like to recommend 1. Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria 2. 86 3. Kamisu Reina Series 4. Gekkou 5. Chinmoku no Majo no Kakushigoto 6. Hikikomori Kyuukestuki no Monmon 7. Natsu e no Tunnel, Sayonara no Deguchi
Hi I just finshed 21st century boys and found out that this is actually a new ending in the perfect edition is this new ending canon? Did urasawa himself write it or was it someone else? I have tried looking everywhere to find the answer to this but have turned up nothing so far. Also what is the consensus did fukubei die in the classroom when he hanged himself or was it over the summer after graduation, has urasawa ever commented on it?
Recs not on the list: Tokyo Babylon X Red River Übelblatt Fruits Basket Skip Beat RG Veda Mars Vampire Hunter D Drifters D.Gray-man W Juliet Bakuman Please save my Earth
Some manga that I think you missed are Pandora Hearts, D. Gray Man, Haikyuu, Sousou no Freiren, Bakuman, Fire Punch, and Ruroni Kenshin. All of these are easily at least 9/10 mangas
I'll make a list of all the ones in this video I've read/watched, then comment on one that wasn't here and one I want to read. -Jojo's was my second anime I watched when I was getting into anime because some of my friends are big into it. After I caught up with part 5 my friend prompted me to read the manga and I caught up to part 8 the day it ended. -Death note (anime) is very thrilling, especially the first part. Despite what people say the second part is good to, its just not as good as the first. -One punch man (anime) is pretty good, personally I think Mob Psycho is better, but I haven't read either. I tried reading One Punch Man one time but couldnt bring myself to commit past the first chapter. -Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is easily one of the best anime, and you can recommend it to almost everyone. I would definitely be willing to read the manga or watch the 03 anime. -Evangelion (anime). For how much people like to talk up or down this show, I don't really have anything to say about it. -Spy X Family (anime). I hope it doesnt go on too long, or that it changes up the formula eventually, because surely little cute Anya can only be entertaining for so long before it starts to get stale. Also I want to see Loid and Yor find out the truth! And I want to see them actually get married! -One Piece (manga). My top 1 fiction and my grand return to manga after reading Jojo's like a year ago at that point. Not only is it good from the start, not only does it live up to the hype, but it somehow just continues to peak, with my favourite moment not even being 50 chapters ago. -Chainsaw Man. I gotta read another Fujimoto work. If you read Chainsaw man through to the end it is undoubtably a masterpiece. Its shame they had to split the anime into two halves with the first half not being the reason the show was so hyped. -Hunter x Hunter. Its pretty good. I really likes the first arc, and enjoyed Yorknew. Unfortunately I dropped the manga at Greed Island because I was kinda depressed at the time and just couldnt be asked. -Attack on Titan (anime). Watched AoT for the same reason I read One Piece, it was super hyped, and actually had people saying how it was good. And like One Piece it also lived up to the hype. I often find myself comparing it to FMA with how meticulously it seems everything was planned out, and how good it is. Definitely worth a watch or read. -Dandadan is one of my new favourites. The author, whos name i should learn, does a fantastic job at merging genres. I've never really went after romance or horror stuff, but Dandadan's made me want to explore that stuff more. Excited to read more when the next chapter drops. -Takopi. Gonna be honest I forget that I read some of this. I read the first few chapters while waiting for my brother to finish a Mordhau game so that we could watch Vinland Saga. Didn't go back to finish it although maybe I should. -Vinland. I'm currently watching Vinland Saga with my brother, not caught up yet but its pretty good, and I've listened to the second op a good amount in my own time. -Dorohedoro. Currently reading Dorohedoro after a friend recommended it to me. It feels like a seinen Chainsaw Man, which is strange to say because when I was reading Chainsaw Man I was saying things like "This is a shonen?" Recently I've been itching to watch/read Hellsing, I mean come on, that concept is just something else, and the art also reminds me of Trigun Maximum. But before I watch/read Hellsing I want to finish one of the four or so other anime im in the middle of watching, because I've just been putting them off for whatever reason. And for my manga suggestion I suggest one of my favourites, the Trigun/Trigun Maximum manga. Its a space western about a pacifist gunslinger trying to stop his super terrorist brother in a kill or be killed world. It's also a different story to both the 98 Trigun anime and the 2023 reboot, both of which are also great. Out of the three versions the manga's probably my favourite, although the reboot is pretty good, and depending on how it continues could end up better than the manga.
Murasakiiro no Qualia is definitely up there for me as an underrated favorite manga. It's got a very similar vibe to Spirit Circle and that's as far as I'm going to spoil it. In terms of other stuff, Freesia and Joshi Kouhei are pretty dang cool, but they're certainly more acquired tastes.
Awesome recommendations. On the other hand, I recommend Front Mission: Dog Life and Dog Style. It's based on the video game of the same name but it's episodic in nature so it can be understood easily by anyone. I love the art style and the story of each arc, especially the final one. Check it out and see if it's worth your time.
@@SeaGee you will love it if you like psychological horror manga like me. I finished it today and I know without a shadow of a doubt it changed me as a person.
