I bought makrov yesterdat for 130 000 rs. Tested today from 25 yards. It is dam accurate hit all 15 shot on tgt with miner in accuracy. Point of impact varies a bit. I tested Norinco 9mm pistol that is too good with good MPI (mean point of impact) and i made group of 3 inches from 25 Ms. I tested sarsarmaas turkish 9mm, that was even more smooth and MPI was 2.5 inches from 25 Ms. - Strong point of macrof are. 1. Small size / hand some body. 2. Simple mechanism and ensured security and safety handlying. 3. Small barrel but effective range is desirable and satisfactory even more then the large size and long barrel pistols. Above all accuracy and robustness is hallmark of mackrive. 5. Strong material 6 Easy to assemble and disassemble. - weak point are. 1. Less maganise capacity, should board atleast 15 /16 bullets. 2. No option / rails for lesser and optical sights. 3. No option available for silencesor. 4. Pistol grip do not provide spongy or soft palastic material. While firing, it even hurts inner of thumb and during excessive firing you will get auxhusted due to recoil effects / jerks of pistol. -- Recommend for improvement in effeciancy. 1. Reduce recoild for more accuracy and rapid fire. 2 Add rails on upper and lower body. 3. Existing Magzine can board even 20 rounds if it is framed a bit more in width inside existing pistol grip as existing pistol grip in wide engough. Makarov shouldn't improve on this, it will gain more popularty and attract 8. 4. A plate on back side if pistol grio and spring / shock absorver mechanism can solve the jurk issues of makrov.
Thank you for nice video, can I ask you some things I have Baikal 442 can I shoot with it all kind of Makarov ammunition because I heard this gun is not strong enough to shoot the old pm ammunition. Thanks
Thanks for watching our channel. We never had any issues with Baikal 442 with old ammunition because it was stronger. We had problems with old 19x18 because it was to weak and few cases with bullet stuck into barrel because the old ammunition didn’t have enough power to let the bullet out of the barrel.
Thanks for watching our videos . We know several Bulgarian made used at privets range for years with more than 50000 rounds fired and still good barrel.
I'm from former ussr, and l have soviet makarov and 8-rounds baikal-442 in 9*18 mak. Here,we know all the information about soviet weapon. So,standard soviet PM barrel is very resistent ,and even after 50000 rounds can be well. About baikal 442 in cal. makarov, situation about barrel life is a little different. The chamber in both pistols are absolutely the same, but the barrel bore in baikal is a little more " tight", becouse according to the russian police demand, baikal can not use military ammo wirh steel core bullets,so,in the baikal bore there is more stronger friction between bullet and barrel,so,it coses stronger " stress" for the barrel steel. So,the normal life for such a barrel is 5-6000 rounds. Also frame, wich was made of pressed metall pouder, but not frezerd from one peece of metall like military soviet period Makarov. So,for longer servive it is better to buy military makarov, but for more accuracy- Baikal 442 9*18.
