That was Hoffenheim against Bayern at the beginning of 2020. I was in the stadion that day and as a Bayern fan, I was ashamed of those banners calling the Hoffenheim sponsor a "son of a bitch". The reaction of both teams was outstanding and was heavily applauded by most of the audience.
I had my chance to score my first goal ever in highschool when a shot ricochet off the keepers face right back to me in the box. As my whole team and the crowd yelled shoot, I noticed our other striker walking towards the opposing keeper on the ground. We were up 2-0 so I kicked the ball out and went to help my friend check on the goalie. He'd broken his nose so we helped him back to their bench. 14 years later we're going to that guys wedding and my other striker is the Godfather to their newborn😂 Winning isn't always everything
Thanks for the comments everyone🙏 it was honestly random with Zack running into him a few years after college and them recognizing each other! I probably wouldn't have remembered him if I saw him lol. He probably wishes he didn't run into us cause he's been trying to beat us in FIFA since like 16🤣 But yeah it's definitely crazy what life holds for us on our journeys. I give every bit of credit to God, trust in Him and He will always provide for us. This is what Jesus said "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Hypothetically speaking for anyone that doesn't believe yet for any reason; If God created the universe and everything in-between, and He promises to walk with you and provide anything you need, how much easier would life be if you knew undoubtedly God had your back in all situations? It'd be like playing a game with the creator that knew all the cheat codes, right? Honestly it's better than that because God LOVES you more than we can ever realize. All He wants is to be a part of your life, you let Him in and you'll never regret it. I love everybody here and I'm always here if anyone ever has questions or needs someone to talk to. God bless and have a great weekend!
Di Canio moment never ever tires to leave me feeling so amazed for his decision. Could easily have an opportunity on goal but he stopped the game to allow the keeper to get treatment
One of the best football videos I've seen...It's great when teams recognise an injustice and then let the opponents score a free goal unopposed...Brilliant
This is a lovely video and it highlights something I see with boys and men all the time that is not recognised. There is tremendous empathy and kindness; yes, they play rough but that doesn't mean that they want to harm (well, sometimes but not often). Quite rightly we observe and are great for women's kindness but I don't think we remember that men are just as capable as women
Love the teams standing up against the toxic crowds. One of the worst and best aspects of most sports and i would say soccer in particular is the fans.
Ronaldo helping has to be the mis-interpreted incident of Football. Portugal was loaing at that time and Ronaldo wanted the game to move fast as they were trying to score. Him helping Cavani was only so that he would get off yhe pitch and the match begin.
Sometimes players will help an opposing player with an injury off the field so they can get on with the game. It's as much sportsmanship and solidarity as it is, "Come on, buddy, you're wasting valuable time. Let's get you off the field."
If only every single player was like this, them falling when getting hit lightly on the shoulder is ridiculous and infuriates me. Integrity should matter more than the outcome.
Sorry for being so dumb, but I didn't understand what the clip at approximately 38 seconds was. The one at 0:38 seconds, with the guy in red kicking the ball out of the goal....what happened?..I don't understand. Could anyone explain what's happened. Was it that a player in black shook his hand? Thank you so very much!
This is what we saw in almost every match back in the 1980s and all the way to 2000, first after 2000 the downfall of football began, greed is killing the sport. Now i just cant stand watching it anymore, its all greed.
In cricket, the batsmen wear gloves and it's a very conning thing for the other team to help the batsmen with their shoe lace or even stretch during a cramp. So common that no special attention is given. That's why it's called the Gentleman's Game.
@@jonathandrouin8717 which era do you live in lol? Cricket's biggest player base is India where most members of the national team consists of players who were in the lower class/lower-middle class.
i wish i would of played with more respect when i played i was much younger and always gave 110% and played very aggressive and sometime would get less sportsman than i should and receive cards but i most of the time fouls are just pure accidents caused by playing your hardest
