Another Atco's Collections Video - Been playing with solar lately. Bought 3 panels. OK to use on the porch, but in the front yard there isn't anything easily to lay them on. I found 2 videos on YT where they made a folding stand for their 100 watt panel using PVC pipes. Looked cool, so I did one two. Here's my job on it. The two videos I saw were - Guns and Gear Network (Off Grid Solar Panel System DIY PVC Stand), and K Butler (Solar Panel Stand for under $10). See ya -- Atco

A belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours, Atco. I'm in the same situation as you. I have too much stuff around and have had to purge some of it. Indeed, we're moving to our retirement place and it will take some time to set up my games and music room. But, I've been planning it for quite some time. Should be fun. Oh, please give Little Girl a treat for me.

Hi Pig - Yep, Santa was good to me! You're right, I haven't done many videos this year. Kinda burned out on the yard sales anymore. Got too much junk myself, no more to bring in. I've deleted about 100 of my videos that were all from my yard sales and hamfests. But have kept the tech ones on my channel. Now I'm into these solar power stations. Will put a new one out very soon. Thanks for supporting my channel! See ya -- Atco

I have been looking at setting up solar panel for years. Over the years have watched tons of yt videos on the subject but havent actually done anything except purchase one of those small folding solar charges for battery banks to use when camping. Maybe next year. Are you planning on doing some upcoming videos as your set up grows?

Hi Zen - My use of these power stations is for emergency power. When power is off, I'm most concerned with just basic power which usually for me is some lights and a TV (less than 50 watts needed). For a 300watt or 500watt unit with 400wh - 500wh storage, that would give me my basic emergency for around 7 hours. Units of that type stations are sold around $400-$500. Not interested in trying to add more solar panel system higher that that. I use either 1 100watt solar panel or 2 100watt solar panels to recharge the units off the sun. I will be doing some more videos to show people what they can expect out of a $500 power station and why should they have one in the house. I do hope that a bigger unit soon will be available around $1000. If so, I hope the battery will be twice longer (1000wh) and able to handle a 1500 watt output for a short shot, such as my Kuerig coffee maker that only needs to run about 4 mins. There are a few units that can do that already but more like $1500 at a cost plus rather heavy units, some being up to 50 lbs. If I can find one I want, I need it to be portable, more like 25 lbs.
