The sounds they use on the Slow Mo Guys channel are not the original sounds created by their actions, the sounds are edited in from various sources, not even taken from original footage.

I think slow mo sound is actually added after the fact for effect. Real sound slowed down that much drops pitch enough to make sounds unrecognizable.

Kyreu each string has around 150 pounds of tension and there are hundreds of strings though I doubt the still have even half of there original tension

Im a piano technician, and no piano have 50 tons of pull force, they have accually about 18 tons, they have about 250 strings and not all of the strings have the same pull force, so in the end it comes about 18 tones 😊

similar pianos are currently selling in restored condition for around $45,000. so in theory he at least just shot a down payment on a house if the piano had been restored. Unrestored they're a couple thousand from what i saw on a quick google search
