I think i like the older design. The new one has a deep well which makes it hard to pick up the powder.

I love your videos! Especially the ones about vintage make-up. Its so interesting to see how the beauty industry has recycled so many of the same ideas but have sadly made them less sustainable

I always loved my grandmas compact that had the section/ thing that covered the powder but swivels out to expose the powder but it’s purpose was to keep the applicator separate from the product 🤯😊

You need to check your Library for books on the subject. There is likely a Magazine on Vintage Makeup Tools. Lisa Eldridge is the Grand Dame of Vintage Make up. She has a book on the subject. Suggest you create a Bullet Journal on the Subject.

I think packaging like this is great for travel or for popping in your purse but not as practical for my 'on the beauty counter' products. When I'm at home I just want the product on my face asap.

I think the thing with the blue paint could contain led so be careful as the paint is chipped Maybe go get it tested

I love the older design better. I believe a lot of problems have been solve already. The predatory nature of American Capitalism replaced a lot of very good ideas 💡
