Inez Harries and Venice Shaw - twin sisters turn 100, with Jay. They were my Aunts they were born 1/15/1911. Inez passed in 2-25-14 and Venice passed 8-9-16.

I feel honored every time i speak with an old person. For them to take time out of their day (of what little days they have left) to talk to you and share their wisdom. Beautiful
Carol Burnett's story is 100% true. I was visiting Carol at her home in Santa Barbara because a friend and I had been helping her archive many of her letters and old scripts. We stopped for lunch by the pool and Carol was reading the newspaper. Suddenly, she started sobbing and her hands were shaking. We thought something was wrong. She was very moved. That's the way she is. I worked with her for only 3 months and she still sends me Christmas and birthday gifts.
What a charming story. These darling 100-year old twins, and Carol Burnett is their favorite comedian. And Jay Leno brings them together! How wonderful!
Inez is my great grandmother, and Venice is my great aunt. They're both incredibly kind, strong women. Also, to clear up the ben Affleck cold shoulder, she just didn't notice or hear him. :D
I definitely believe you Summer , some people are just too easy to pay attention to negetivity or things that don't really Matter so much , anyone looking at both ladies carefully would realized that one is sharper than the other persay , their body language tells that they are just as warm and beautiful and are doing great , but the older one , she does not walk with a cane or stick whatever it's called, she hears more clearly , even with the song , she started first and the other join in after , it is just natural that the lady did not recognize Ben , it has nothing to do with not liking him or whatever , SMH, God bless you Summer and long life and health ♥️♥️♥️

It's beautiful. Even more so that their in heaven, or maybe even back on earth idk... But human experience is definitely a joy and just full of love 💞💞💞 makes everything worth it 🥲
Aw, they were so sweet and funny. And they looked great! I saw that Inez lived to be 103 and Venice to 105. That's amazing! May they be together in eternity, as I know they would want to be.
Awww God Bless. Just know she makes someone smile anytime they watch this. I would be so curious to see the picture Carol B sent to them and what they thought of her, and meeting her as a surprise. Did they live together at this age? Oh how many wonderful stories they must have had....
Wonderful, heartwarming segment. My sister and I are identical twin sisters. It would make me very happy to live to be 100 if we could still be best friends that long and I know we would be. We say that when we do go someday we have to go to Heaven the exact minute because we never want to be on this earth without one another. You say what.///!!!! 92????? How do our sweet elders stay so old and still strong. This week, I head a man of 85 still very active in his work and considering retiring at 90 while his sons are retiring in their 60s. Like how do that generation do it?

@@syedsakibsakib2205 sadly he passed away 2 years ago, 6 months before his 100th birthday. He passed away only because he fell down and injured his lower back, at his age there’s nothing can be done and he couldn’t walk after that accident and couple months after he passed 😔
Loved them & I remember coming home from a date & watching this episode with my stepfather! Funniest & sweetest twins! They looked fantastic! Loved his show & funny segments! Best part was no politics or listening to him state his views ! Just plain laughter!
The reason they were on this show is because they were twins. Like they said in this video, the likelihood of BOTH twins living that long is significantly less than even an individual managing to do so.

They are so darling! And wearing the same outfit, so cute! I'm sure they felt so blessed to meet Carol! Bless their sweet hearts! It was rare for both twins to be born alive, in those days!!
Normally, I wouldn't shout, but THANK YOU FOR THIS POST! It is one of the most heart-warming things I have ever seen on the Internet. And Carol Burnett?!? She was the icing on the cake! (Also, the twins look and move about better than many who are 30 years younger. I wanted Jay to ask them to reveal dietary and other health habits.)
I still miss my great grand mother who lived for 95 years without takinga single dose of any medicine . Much respect and love to these two adorable twins!
It was wonderful that you had these precious ladies on your show and that Carol Burnett came to see them. I would love to have my granddaughters love me and appreciate me and that I would to get to know my grandson more. He is only 4.

This made me real sad ,I had an identical twin ,unfortunately she passed away in her 60,s we were so like them I could see us sitting there .Lovely ladies.and looking great for 100
This is precious. It's amazing to hear the stories of people older people. What they lived thru. When someone lives to be 100+. I always feel like they'll live forever but we're not immortal. They are now together in heaven. ❤️
