Everyone in the comments needs to understand what drag is, it is a costume. It's no different to your favourite actor playing a role in a film. Think what you want about trans people, but stop confusing them with drag queens/kings.

Drag Queens in general make me so happy. Once, when I was 7, I ran up to a Drag Queen and and I yelled really loud “YOU’RE SO BEAUTIFUL!” She looked down at me and said “Oh sweety you’re even more beautiful than I am!” and I was so happy that I raised my arms and asked her to hug me! She did so without a question and I was so happy! It’s still a good memory to me! I just love these ladies!

They should also include the grunge scene of drag. Adore is showing that, but it's like not talked about at all.

My first introduction to drag was a movie called "To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar" and it starred Ru in it. I loved that movie and I keep watching it.

I felt like Detox’s inspirational references were the most spot on.

also this really shows you how talented drag queens are they can do their hair in incredible styles they are amazing makeup artists i mean they invented contouring and have a killer since of fashion and some are even more talented like jinx monson not only he can do all the above but he can sing , write songs , dance , act and some of them are at incredible levels now do you know a celebrity that can do ALL OF THE ABOVE ? exactly

Raja has a noticeable bump on her feet in heels, I wonder if that's just natural bone structure or if it's a painful condition from wearing such high heels for all the years in drag? A small thing that's probably nothing but it has me suddenly considering how uncomfortable these men are and that drag queens probably end up suffering long term for their art (such as the pageant girl hair style that causes some queens' hair to thin at the front, permanent eyelash loss from weave glue, or the binding tape literally rubbing skin raw). A lot of people probably assume it's easy for queens, that it's jut a wig, makeup and a dress but I don't think the general public really consider how much goes into creating that illusion, from the gaff/tuck,keeping them looking feminine from the waist down, the corset digging in to give a shape, the heels killing their feet, hot itchy wigs, oversized heavy jewellery, padding making them feel overheated and restricting movement and the hours of artistry spent making it all come together...makes me really appreciate the art more since having watched Drag Race and seeing the process.

Bowie was NOT a drag queen. Seriously no. He was amazing and an icon, and he was also very androgynous but he was not a drag queen.

This was a really cool concept! The eighties Divine inspiration was sort of lost on me, but the whole thing was great. The highlight was Shangie at the end, that was an amazing look.

How was Detox showing a Raven inspiration...at all. She didn't even have Raven's signature eye.
