@@polobaluyut6816 i wish Violet padded her hips just a bit. Jason Dardo has sexy broad shoulders. However, if you look at Violet's shoulder to hip ratio, it's not always balanced. The waist training does give Violet an hourglass sillhouette, if you look at 'only' the chest to hip sillhouette. I'm a cis-woman. My shoulder circumference is the exact same measurement as the fullest part of my hips. My waist is 10.5 inches smaller both ways. However my bust is 5.5 inches smaller than my hips/shoulderd. So using the chest to hip ratio I'm very pear-shaped, but shoulder to hip ratio wise, i'm more balanced. Now, I understand men and women have very different figures. However, most drag queens (especially Violet) pad, waist-train and, dress to give the illusion of a more feminine figure. Violet padding just a bit on hips (hip dips) would really take her next level.

@@anarey-oktay2683 Fashion is art, the democratization of fashion and other forms of art is particularly apparent in the US, you end up with "artists" that make a lot of money marketing themselves under the guise of fashion, and most people don't understand the difference. Virgil Abloh puts his name on an IKEA table and charges twice as much for it, that is marketing. Labels are about lifestyle marketing, why the US didn't get Raf Simons at Calvin Klein, he wasn't selling them on the superiority of white suburbia, something that just about every other ready to wear label does.

There was an exhibit in a museum in Southern California last year. Forty full Guo Pei outfits, including head pieces and shoes. They are iconic works from different seasons. I went three times. Amazing.

JD MJ except they have no idea what they’re saying. This collection ... you HAD to be there, it was THE show of all HC. There has never been such a buzz for a particular member of the CSHC’s shows - and a guest member who is also the first Asian Couture Designer EVER to be accepted at that. This is the presentation of some of the most artistic, timeconsuming and difficult work in all of fashion over the past decade and you just sit there and you’re like ‘I like how it thpahkles, Kim K could have worn this!’ NO. NO!

@@MFRU-vid683 an old comment, but you sound like you only skimmed the video. there are several instances in which they openly admire the work that guo pei puts into her work. violet even says that she thinks that guo pei's work is one of the true examples of avant garde fashion. something that kim chi also agrees with. the funny thing about sitting in a comment section and chatting about how people don't know a thing and then proceeding to be condescending, is that, often, you're the one that sounds they know zero percent of what they are talking about.
