@@tlrprice7 All we saw here was short circuit. Most quickhacks are actualy non lethal. System reset, overheat, short circuit and contaigon are the once most used and all of them are non lethal.
yeah and here I was mulling over if the guy I knifed guarding the back was too much and they'd suspect sth. My man cleared the place and Wakako still praised him hahah
Cool shit, I usually like to use a detonate grenade or system reset on big groups with a rippler cyber deck, super satisfying to wipe everyone out instantly and saves you RAM if you use the right perks
Well, hacking build definitely needs a nerf. Same for reflex build with sandevistan. I can't believe they nerfed crafting as hard as they did, but left these 2 builds alone
@@verta_ they nerfed hacks by automaticly revealing you on your second hack into the same network. This isn't a threat on lower difficulty or if you run sonic shock as your legendary. Sonic shocks passives automaticly removes enemies from their network while under the effect of any quickhack which means that they can't communicate your location with their squad turning this 'nerf' to nothingness.
@@dexterbennett1054 my reflex sandevistan build is hilarious, with a good katana and monowire everyone in the building is carved up slabs of meat before anyone realises whats happening.
the Rippler mk4 is the most satisfying OS in the game bec of it's very fast upload times. in combination with Contagion against larger groups and Short Circuit against robots and single opponents it's the best of all for me. very nice vid without any shot fired!!
Man netrunning is fucking terrifying. Imagine people dropping like flies around you, and not knowing wtf is going on til your brain gets fried as well.
I admire to people that have the will to replay the game for 1000+ hours. I played cyberpunk for cca 80 hours and never again visited that game cause i don't have nothing new to see.
I know I could theoretically do this, but my mind is a lot slower than yours and would take 10 seconds to find the right quick hack. after finally aiming being on the person, plus the time in between aiming and putting my hand on the arrow keys. TLDR; basically this takes me about 30 seconds to finally start one quick hack on one person.
@@naebalvas Actually stealth is easier because they can't hear you when you walk. Plus I can use kerenzikov to quickly dodge into cover if I need to. This implies that anyone is still conscious to see you after you hack the first person with contagion lol.
I miss the time before patch 1.3 where you can hack through walls like I finished a lot of gigs just outside of the venue standing while hacking them from the outside and going in after all of them are on the ground lol
damn, wish i was able to do that lol instead i used stealth and made it in without getting caught by simply doing parkour on the roof and putting a ton of gaurds in headlocks, i think I short cuircut one or two just to not worry about em later on but it was such a fun gig
This is why you download all the cool hacking mods that make it harder and require at least one stealth takedown or an access point in the area to start hacking.
Imo they should nerf direct damage hacks, because why bother with ultimate quickhacks, which can kill only 1 person, have 2 minute cooldown and cost half your ram, if you can kill the whole gang with one contamination and those, who survive can be oneshoted by 1 short circuit? This also has no competition with cyberware and weapon malfunction hacks, which aren't used, because first one has a hard time to find anybody with cyberware and is only useful with sandevistan users and the second one lasts for only 5 seconds, which is a shame, because it seems like the right way to play netrunner. Ultimates are also fun to watch someone commit suicide, lose consciousness, turn against their allies and have the team blown up by a random grenade in the pocket, but it's all overshadowed by these direct damage hacks. Especially the grenade one, because it's so random, that you can activate just a flash grenade, which does nothing, but you already paid the unreal cost of ultimate quickhack
I restarted the game recently,, like yesterday, and i am doing this, on a much smaller scale. I don't have this much damage for now and not even close to so many options on what to do with them, so yeah. I want to spice things up with some gunplay as well, i don't want to be so invisible
Net running in cyberpunk is annoying for me. Like there's all these cool quick hacks that require patience and set up to execute and I want to do it... but my brain won't let me because "why do that when u can just use short circuit lul"
Netrunning is fun as a second option. Manipulating the battle with stuff like reboot neuros or detonate granade can be really fun but just spamming short circuit is indeed extremly boring after a while.
