The way I see this series ending is like the borderlands series. You have the first game which was a monumental start for everyone who worked on it and it paid off very well and SP1 had a monumental launch with little complain. Then Borderlands TPS. It was meh, and tbh imo, MM kinda felt meh also (Yes I know tps was released after two but they were both supposed to be spin offs). But then borderlands 2 came out and it did very.. VERY.. well. SP2 did okay at launch, but they both were still the peak. In SP2, we got the character swap, web gliders, pretty much everything we basically asked for. Borderlands 2 is self explanatory. Now 3. While three hasn't been released for this game yet, we have borderlands 3, and it wasn't bad but what let it down? The story. Everything else in the game was golden with gameplay, But I'm afraid that there won't be much to add to SP3 since they basically everything. Tbh, I at least hope it has a better launch than SP2. sorry for the yap session, I just thought of this comparison.
