I've seen this GT500 at a classics car meet in Granada Hills didn't know it had 1000+ hp under the hood but it does make sense seeing the meats on the back.

Exactly why supercharged my Tacoma 20 year's ago now long before anyone else was doing it. That with the Borla exhaust and Jacobs Electronics digital ignition and she came alive. Even better when upgraded the drive pulleys for MORE boost.

These GT500’s done 10.6 bone stock and have broken 1000rwhp with bolt-ons cant imagine what this animal does

Should be mid to high 9’s. At this power level the clutches in the DCT become a problem. They start to slip causing error codes in the computer which sometimes will cut off power. Have seen this via Palm Beach Dyno’s.

Sean obviously you dont drag race or own 1200wheel cars. You have to have huge sidewalls to hook or even make car safe on the street. And you want skinnier tires up front, but not actual true skinnies cause its dangerous to drive true skinnies on the street. But his tire rim set up is perfect for a badass street drag car. Awesome

My number 1 bucket list car....Shelby GT500. This one sounds fantastic. I'd go with a quieter exhaust but that's my preference. Like to hear the supercharger whine. Car is incredible. Be safe and stay well.

Damn, that thing probably rips down a strip. As for the stumbling, traction control probably wasn’t completely off, even once you switched it off. For safety reasons, in a lot of these new cars, traction/stability control is not completely disengaged with just the flip of a switch - it usually requires some sort of press and hold sequence. And sometimes that doesn’t do it either and you have to pull fuses.

That odd stumble or break up was most likely your foot bouncing on the gas.pedal. I've seen/heard this a million times. You're not tight to the seat and as the car accelerates you slide back, your foot comes off the throttle slightly, then as the car deceleration happens you slide forward causing your foot to push the pedal down further increasing the RPM, then you slide back and it drops rpm. Driver error.

Traction control ruining all the fun! Badass mustang for sure. The DCT really seems to be of quality and the shift speed is amazing. Although I kinda prefer the classics, this is an amazing piece of machinery.

There isn’t much else you can do accept for maybe cams and a built bottom end but he’s probably around 1150 to the rubber. That’s what most fully modded S550 GT 500 are at. Also there is no tuning for that transmission either.

The stumble is the transmission not taking the power. Also you need to hold the traction control button for five seconds.

Hey Shaun congrats on your new GT350! I was just wondering out of curiosity why did you trade it with your ZL1? Personally I would have done the exact opposite as the ZL1 for me is the overall better car. I'd like to know your point of view as to why you chose the GT350 over the ZL1. Thank you!

Since I’ve had the ZL1 for 4 years it was time for change and I always wanted the 350 too. I like the power and stability of the ZL1 better but love the sounds, manual and ergonomics of the 350 better. If I could afford it I’d have both…working on it!
