Man, if I could go back in time 14 years to when I was 17, I wish I could have started my journey as a knifemaker then instead of now at 31. You have a lot of talent; I look forward to seeing your career grow! Nice work!

I started Army at 36. After 8 years, I went back to school and become a nurse at 44. There is nothing you cannot achieve if you really want to make it happen. You just got to have the desire and the need to put effort on it. Knife making is not different.

Could you guys do some cutting demonstrations on paper/food at the end? That shit is always sooo satisfying and shows the knife at work. Lovely piece tho

Really great project, I too make knives and agree that you made the right decision by the addition of extra metal. You lose so much with scale, it's so annoying. I also use a Norton flypress for bonding hot metal, mainly because I cannot afford a good hydraulic press lol. Great video, best of luck guys.

That turned out amazing! Love the pattern, the integral, and the handle wood + shape. You knocked it out of the park. I look at custom build videos every night. This is one of the best I have seen and one of my favorites to date. This is a 10 out of 10. Definitely THE best kitchen knife I have seen on RU-vid. Great job and keep doing the knives and videos. You have scary talent bro!

Отличная работа! Вот только режущую кромку лучше делать из одного металла. Поскольку при изготовлении ее из дамаска режущие характеристики начинают снижаться. Но думаю вы и так в курсе)) А так хорошая работа!!!

Sword technique or Damascus knife is a combination of hard steel and soft steel. Soft steel characterized by sharp but fragile. Hard steel has a strong character but is not sharp enough. So this Damascus technique mixes these 2 types of steel as sharp and strong knives so that they look like they are armored and impressed there are 2 types of steel mixed. (The color is not the same) Actually the original Damascus technique is extinct. There is no original Damascus sword craftsman who understands his knowledge. Because this technique used to be very secretive, the meaning of technology is now racing to find Damascus techniques like what ... Just look at this Vidio conventional technique has not been able to make the knife fragile. (In Vidio this knife is still sensitive / fragile.) So it is combined with modern technology to strengthen the physicality of the knife. In the past in the past full of conventional technology without the help of machine technology. That was originally ORIGINAL ENGINEERING MAKING DAMASKUS SWORD OR KNIFE HAS BEEN EXPOSED
