Last 1000 Miglia 2022 passage for me. To follow the final day on Saturday, I chose the renowned Salsomaggiore Terme. Over 430 cars from 8.00 in the morning began to welcome the population that, during the event, became increasingly numerous and participated in applauding the drivers. Beauties such as Alfa-Romeo 6c 1750, Lancia, Lambda, B20, B24, Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing, Bentley, Austin Healey, Porsche 550 Spyder & 356, Ferrari 750 Monza, Maserati A6GCS & 300S paraded. The best of the world production of vintage cars in this large caravan is also the most expensive in the world for value and historical importance. Enjoy! 😉
Ultimo passaggio per me della 1000 Miglia 2022. Per seguire la giornata conclusiva di Sabato ho scelto la rinomata Salsomaggiore Terme. Oltre 430 vetture dalle 8.00 di mattina hanno iniziato ad accogliere la popolazione che durante lo svolgimento della manifestazione si è fatta sempre più numerosa e partecipe per applaudire i piloti. Hanno sfilato bellezze come Alfa-Romeo 6c 1750, Lancia, Lambda, B20, B24, Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing, Bentley, Austin Healey, Porsche 550 Spyder & 356, Ferrari 750 Monza, Maserati A6GCS & 300S. Il meglio della produzione mondiale di auto d'epoca in questa enorme carovana che è oltretutto la più costosa al mondo per valore ed importanza storica. EXCELLENT. I'm hoping to have a car suitable for the Miglia within the next two years. Getting a place is another thing but it's worth a shot.

Superb captioning, this video is wonderful. I loved your take on the FoS this year as well. The highlight for me in this one is 1955 Ferrari 875s. That's the only one with a fin. If it's the real deal, it was crashed at Dundalk 1955 TT by Oliver Gendebian, raced by Jack McAfee, Phil Hill, Caroll Shelby, and others, owned by Andy Warhol briefly? Beautifully restored by DK engineering in 2011. It was sold for 6.5m at auction. Drive carefully!

Thanks for this information. I'm glad you liked the subtitles with the name of the cars. I also have to insert the name of the vehicles in the four videos of the FOS, but I need a lot of time that I currently don't have. So it is something that I will do because I think it's very useful 😉

That's what I like about the 1000 Miglia, being able to see unimaginable cars on the street with a lot of tranquillity as if the owners had gone for a coffee 😄👍

What, no double -bubble Fiat Abarth, shame. In the US early 50's can't remember seeing any Lancia, but a few DB-Panhard. If you were near a U.S. Air Force Base in the east these cars were brought back by airman(free shipping) after the war, i.e. Morris Minor, TC's VW's Allards and a stray Bentley and of course they weren't expensive .

The Abarth cars you are talking about were indeed built after 1957, and therefore they are too recent to be able to participate in the 1000 Miglia. Interesting what you wrote about the other cars 👍

I believe the 'jeep style' vehicle at 7:08, following the Cisitalia, is an Alfa Romeo 1900 Matta, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Cheers.

According to Babvvo and Tebbvo laws from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one state operated central gas station per city. From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning vehicles any more....:-((

Hell we can't even ban 2v stroke environmental disaster lawn trimmers, leaf blowers and Rollin coal here in the USA. So I'm less concerned than perhaps I should be. I just want to enjoy my 2001 911 a little bit through my retirement is that too much to ask?

Mille Grazie for this Superbe Video .....but what I will never understand and don't even want to understand is what a participant in an Classic Alfa Romeo with a cowboy hat is doing. Just like the numerous others with modern US base caps. Where's the style there.???..It is for me nothing different than when you simply paint over a famous picture artwork with graffiti...excuise ma but this is my opinion

You're welcome 👍This comment made me smile because you surely don't know that man in the Cowboy hat. He's a great Italian endurance racing driver who raced in Formula 1. His name is Arturo Merzario, and he has always been wearing a Cowboy hat since he started racing. History has never been very grateful to him. Merzario was the driver who pulled Niki Lauda out of the car at the Nurburgring when his car caught fire. If Lauda could continue living and racing, it's thanks to the heroic gesture of this pilot.

I was also present at the Mille Miglia when I was managing director of a Lotus Representation in Munich from 1991-1997 I'm a bit older and just wanted to give my thoughts freedom. If you have any doubts about my statement, I can send you the extract from the court's commercial register. But it's much more important to me make great videos from a big MILLE MIGLIA iam sure we ALL are sono dei petrolieri incurabili e questa è una buona cosa-are incurable petrolheads and that's a good thing Cordiali saluti da Vienna con la mia amata attuale Alfa Romeo GT (937)

Of course, we are all passionate about vehicles here and always in an atmosphere of friendship. So, congratulations on your Alfa Romeo, bring a little bit of Italy to the streets of Vienna, a beautiful city where I was a few years ago and which I would like to visit again.
