An elf and her friends defeat a demon king in a great war. But the war is over, and the elf must search for a new way of life. Anime Name: Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
In the movie, The Death of Stalin, an annoyed Nikita Khrushchev dismisses the idea of an afterlife with "Who the fuck in their right mind would want an everlasting life? The endless stupid conversations..."
Don't get me wrong, your recap is as brilliant as ever, but this show is all about the small details, the atmosphere, the emotions, the characters and their connection, remorse and regret. And in this recap form it's all lost. I mean you flew trough the first 2 episode in 4 min, meanwhile watching them the first time i already cried 3 times. So everyone go and bingewatch this masterpiece first THEN come back and watch this recap
I feel like I just watched an anime that usually takes me a few days to finish within an hour, and I just felt that feeling when after watching something good "no what" moment.
Anyone here play the XB360 game, Lost Odyssey? The protag of the game is an immortal named Kaim. One of the running themes in the game is how immortality ends up being insufferably dull and boring, and everyone you befriend, or care about, or get romantically involved with, will grow old and pass away. Immortality is overrated.
I wouldn't say she missed on love, Frieren never felt that way about anyone since Elves are very cold by nature. She didn't even know Himmel properly until he died.
Not sure if Im right or not, but by comparing the two frames with eachother, I feel that Stark's brother resembles the noble's son that died in battle, and the other thing is that both of them died becuase of the battle. Does anyone else think so or am I just tripping?
Way too many damn ads. Getting one every 3 minutes or so, this is crazy. Not worth my time to finish watching it here. If this continues, I'm unsubbing.
