10000 steps workout created for YOU! This is a low impact, no jumping, fun workout (well, at least I think so)! It is a true 10000 step workout which is easy on the joints yet gets your heart rate elevated and gets those steps in. As I always say, please modify any movement that needs to be changed to suit your needs. We'll start off with a warm-up and then as the music picks up, so will our steps and our heart rate. We'll finish with a cool-down and stretching. If you decide to skip my stretch routine, please take the time to do your own since it is crucial to stretch after a long workout.

Last year on this day, I was in intensive care recovering from open heart surgery. It was my 73rd birthday. Today, I completed this wonderful workout in celebration of another year of life and health. Thank you for this gift.

I've tried so many 10,00 step workouts and this is the ONLY ONE that is a real 10,000 step workout and it's not hard to do either. Thanks for everything you do Jules.

I started this on yesterday a complete beginner bmi 30. I had to take 10 breaks to finish. Today I was able to last the entire workout without a break. What I was missing was constant breathing flow during the movements. When she said smiling is good while you work out. It was then revealed to me that if I smile I could control my breathing and it worked. Smooth sailing today!! You can do it!!!

1/31/23 - 10:02pm I found you tonight and watching a small clip made me get up and do this video! Wow! I love the music, and no talking!😂 I’m weird but I’d rather just watch and follow you! The 30 second clock is awesome! Thank you soooo much for putting this out there for us! I’m in my 60’s, over weight had two total knee replacements and had two total hip replacements in the past 3 years. And no, you are not weird...when I work out, I prefer no-talking workouts as well:) Everyone has different tastes and some people prefer the talking, so I create both. I can't please everyone, but I do try! Just so you know, I create gentle, beginner and intermediate level workouts (both seated and standing) so a lot of the workouts won't be at your speed, but you can find the ones most suitable for you in the playlists and also on my website. I think they're a little bit easier to find on my website but both work. If you enjoyed this one, the intermediate ones will likely suit you best, although with knee and hip replacements, the beginner level ones might also work better. I shall let you be the judge of that:) I hope you continue to enjoy the workouts and I look forward to hearing about your progress (if you wish to share it).💖 www.improvedhealthforseniors.com

I’ve been doing this workout 2-4 times a week for the last 2 months, I can honestly feel my fitness improving. I’m doing calorie deficit too so this is going hand in hand for weight loss. I’ve dropped 3 dress sizes in nearly 3 months! Thank you so much I wouldn’t go with anyone else to work out 💪🏻

I began a year long diet in September of 2021. I lost 96 pounds. I felt so good but it started to slowly come back on no matter what I did, I could not lose it. Now, almost 2 years later (experiencing issues like an itb injury, neuropathy, sprained ankle and now trying to recover from a torn meniscus, I have packed on about 20 lbs. I needed a good place to start exercising again, and I found you. That is a long work out but it was perfect for me! Great moves, lots of arm movements and my heart rate reached 120. (I also have Bradycardia and am 64 years old) I pray with this perfect workout, by 65 in 6 1/2 months, I will lose that 20 lbs. You are so personable, good music and I found myself just smiling through this workout😊! Thank you 🙏! You are a Godsend!

Absolutely love this - it has become my favourite YT workout. I have found that anything over 30 mins leaves me exhausted - probably due to high cortisol levels, so I break this into 3 half hour sessions and find it so easy and enjoyable to get it all done before midday. The music is superb.

I exercised daily as well while pregnant and I think it did wonders for me emotionally and physically (and they say it's great for the baby as long as your HR doesn't go too high). Kudos to you for taking care of you AND the baby.

Hello🥰 I did it twice a week, followed by 30 minutes MRT and It felt so great. I burned more than 500 cal and reach more than 10k steps. I enjoy doing this walking workout. I decided to put insoles in my shoes to help with my flat feet. It just made my shoes sit weird and I ended up with a blister. I've been doing hills for 45-60 minutes a day, 3-5 days a week for the past month or so but I just can't because of these blisters. I absolutely LOVED this fun walk! I got a chance to walk AND watch a lecture I needed to see for school. Thank you so much💖✨️

Hello Jules I did it!!! When I finished I jumped all over my hubby and he is super proud of me. I have been working my way up to this workout and even those it was challeging (in length) it was fun and I am so happy that I made it through. During the first 15 minutes or so I thought I might break this up into smaller workouts -- BUT you kept me going to the end!! Loved the music and the easy moves that kept me in my cardio zone the whole time -- just under 10,000 steps for me, but 140 zone minutes according to my fitbit -- amazing! Thank you so much!

That's great! I always try to convince people that sometimes it's just a matter of starting...once we start exercising, we often get more energy and want to do more. I started a few months ago with the 10 minute workouts. And have slowly worked my way up. Today I managed 30 minutes of this workout. My,goal by the end of the year is do the full 90 minutes. Thank you for these workouts.

This was wonderful. I usually go for more "difficult" ones but I'm so so so tired and lazy and this was still challenging and fun. Loved your notes on the side and the music felt like I was actually working out with someone.

Recommended work out for senior like me. Am 62 years old and I felt great after working out for a week. I started with 45min but for the past two days am able to complete 10000steps. Thank you for encouragement and wonderful coaching.

I accidentally found this site a few days ago & I absolutely love these workouts. I just did the 10,000 step video and while I didn't do every move that you did I did keep moving for the whole thing. You are so much fun to watch (I did do more than watch though) 😊 I am 61 years old and not in good shape, but I'm hoping to change that & your videos make working out more fun. My favorites are the ones with the oldies music. But all of them are fun and not boring. I really like the backdrops that you have as well.

Hello from the UK. This time last year I considered myself a fit 59 year old. This year I have lived a busy life with exercise taking a back seat. Sadly I felt the consequences today. I got to 60 minutes and gave up. I will try again tomorrow. Great 10,000 step walking workout. My step counter didn’t know what hit it! More of these please!

Considering you managed 60 minutes, I’d say you did great! This is a long workout and it’s not just simply walking. With all the arm movements included, it’s challenging. Kudos to you for trying it and welcome back to starting to make exercise more of a priority again. ❤️

Wow love this!! I eventually come back to group of my 10steps walking with friends. First day to join this, I did until water braking and jumped out to cooling session. And I made 6,396steps and all my body was sweating. And I feel so achieved. After I got accident on August last year, whole winter season was terribly depressed by losing job and dealing with different illnesses. Hope starting with this I recover all the ways. And I know that I can do it! This positive mind came while I walked with you. Thanks a lot. 😊

I’ve been looking for a good 10,000 step video, and found yours, I’d been doing a 3 mile walk video and I love it, but I wanted to increase my indoor walk. I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into with this 10,000 steps, but I hung in there and feel great!!! Thank you for such a great video. I did the entire workout without stopping. I’m very proud of myself.

Today I clicked on this video for first time. I’ve been a little hesitant to try. 10,000 steps is my daily goal! Changing each move every 30 seconds kept it interesting and challenging. I could tell I was starting to fade a bit around 50 minute mark. I walked through some moves and kept going. At the 1 hour mark I was ready to give up, almost did, however, a few more minutes and the song “I just can’t give up” played. I kept going. Jules encouraged me as well with her typed remarks and cheering me on attitude. I may have slowed a bit and didn’t move my arms quite as high but that’s ok. I challenged my body and it responded well. I achieved my steps goal for the day and intensity minutes goal for the week. I made it! Thanks to Jules @ Improved Health!

Hi Liz, that song was definitely put there for a reason:) I figured most people would want to quit around that point due to either boredom or getting tired so I am happy the song kept you going. You did it! Always a great feeling when we do more than we think we can.

Nope I couldn't find the time..just hear checin how long it took to walk that often ..I will do this maybe once a week. I don't like workouts longer then half an hour but hey this looks kinda fun

I been trying to do variety of zumba dances since those are my favorite types of working out. Came across this one and what I love about this is that you said you can change it up a bit to fit your comfort zones. I've felt validated. Not all work outs are beginner friendly, so I been trying to find ones that are and if there's something difficult, I just been adjusting as I go along until I get used to the movement. I also like that this is low impact and no jumping. I live on the top floor so Im scared of neighbors complaining :) What I also found helpful for me, is doing workouts like this 10-15min each session 3-4 times a day. This way i'm not so tired at the end of one and my energy is more evened out throughout the day :)

Well I did this whole workout today, very proud of myself! Not a big fan of the music (too synthesized for my liking but you can tell the instructor likes it). I prefer music from the 60s, 70s and 80s myself, that music gets me dancing. I also used my step riser to use during some of the 30 second segments. Very much appreciate all these videos and all the hard work that goes into it, so much choice! Thanks

Hi Sandra, I use popular music occasionally but I can't all the time (even though I would love to). When RU-vid creators (me) use copyrighted music, any income generated from the video goes directly to the music companies and the creator (me again) makes zero income from it. So any of my popular music videos are great for my viewers, but total volunteer work from me. That's okay once in a while but I can't do it every time. I'm glad you enjoyed this workout even though the music wasn't ideal for you:)

@@sandranethercott7874 I pay a subscription to a music company so I can use the music they provide (and they pay the music artists) so it's a win-win for all. With copyrighted popular music (what you hear on the radio or the oldies, etc.), all of the money from any video you see on YT goes to those music companies.

I Recently Bought a rebounder and after a few weeks I decided To look for low impact work out that I could Just do on the rebounder. I came across your video and it’s perfect! Exactly what I needed. I was able to go longer with your cool Music. I did Have to modify some but that’s because I’m new to all of it. I’m older and have somewhat of a sedementry life right now. Thanks

Hi! My suggestion is to just do what you can, and stop when you need to. You can always plan 1-2 minute breaks in the video and then restart again. I hope you enjoy the workout:)

I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am to have found your channel! I have been suffering 3 years with herniated disc and sciatica and I've completed this workout 3 times. Wow. I did it! Started off thinking there was no way I could achieve this but would do a little bit and see what it was like. Then thought oh I’ll do half an hour. Then I’ll try for a bit longer. At the hour mark thought we’ll do got this far I might as well try for the end goal. Was tough but enjoy your enthusiasm and also the music is great to work to. Thanks. One happy 68 yr old.
