I have sand drag for years. I feel you have plenty of tire. You are in some real soft sand there. You have a 2 spd shift at a 100 ft. The higher gear will load the motor and allow the tire to hook up. Your to use to hearing you belt drive no shift SXS running up the rpm. The car you have now has big horse power shift early to load the motor and hang on don't drive it like your SXS. Your doing a great job a little more seat time and you'll be the guy's to beat. That thing is awesome I've been following the build.

Taking some of that camber out in the rear might help with getting more surface of the tire for more traction. when it squats is cambers out even more

When you guys get to the strip at sliver lake with the wet sand it will be a rocket with the wheels in the air. !!

you need some skinny and lightweight front tires that will help it get out of the hole

Go 6" taller with rear tire size to get more paddles on the ground. Keep moving to a higher final gear ratio and keep increasing wheel speed until your RPM's drop enough that turbo boost starts to fall off. Find the optimum RPM range that gives you the best combination of max torque and max boost. When you get all of that dialed in you will probably find that your wheel base is too short and it will try to flip over on its lid. Increase wheel base as needed and reduce weight everywhere possible.

Good Fn God! I can imagine how it feels to have the ground thumping under your feet when those buckets carve sand out and hurle it 3 states back. I think the earth rotation has changed again. Sun of a gun that thing Rips, Snorts, Sh*ts, Gits, and a bunch of other stuff I can't even think of. I think it wants to accelerate so fast your soul gets left at the line.

For the love of god, shift up! It could have gone faster if Doug would have just shifted. Smooth tires on the front and something is not right with the weight transfer from front to rear. Great first run though.
