The tarmac’s never gonna be the same! Jesse from @keepitreet brought an Australian-exclusive Ford Falcon that’s been turbocharged and upgraded with a modern transmission and a hand-molded drag wing (among other silhouette tweaks). Jake brought S1CKO, a legend in the Aussie burnout contest scene passed down from father to sons! Powered by a 302 Windsor small block with a cast iron block AND heads, plus a blower sticking up over the roof. We gotta do the Aussie-style: POWER SKID ROUND!

Jake Myers Owner of the S1CKO Mustang here ! Hope Everyone loved This Vs That Episode. Big shout out to the Keep It Reet Boyz we had a blast sending it along side the almighty Aussie Au Falcon. For everyone asking here is the aftermath of the damage to the car! It had shredded a tyre mid 360 on the thrash pad area, the gash in the ground was filled in within the next few hours thankfully!! I was very sorry and felt bad that I had damaged the asphalt very lucky no one was hurt. It wasn’t on the air strip it self so did not interfere with any other races thankfully. There was more damage to S1CKO then we thought from first glance the impact from the rim had snapped the centre out of the rim and bent the axle housing end on the diff from impact and bent the axle it self. Bent the track locating bar on the diff to 4link and cracked the strut top from the impact coming back down from about a meter up on drivers side wild ride that’s for sure and it definitely was not scripted. 😬 My self I was pretty shaken up after hitting my head on the roller cage wasn’t sure what was going on and I had pain in my back straight away had to get a MRI And found out I got a L5/S1 central annular fissure tear on my vertebrae. It will heal over time but hey the joys of race cars I’m all good now and ready to smoke some more tires S1CKO USA Tour coming soon here we come USA 🇺🇸

Not bad. The Falcon's driveshaft popped, and the Mustang just dug its rim into the pavement, causing a very ouch ending. Another wild ride from This vs. That!

It as just the rim coming out of the closet and revealing its now a grinder, basically as the car spun and the tire deformed under pressure caused the bead of the rim to dig into the track spinning with 1000hp behind it.

They have a beautiful post on IG, but I hope they do a full video in a similar progressive day by day style like the video they put out last year of how the car blew it's engine, and what they did to try and get it on the hill. I went to fan fest and devil's playground this year, and it was amazing seeing her and the car in such harmony, Lia really has the skills and mindset of a professional, just like Ken.

@@01ryan10 tire speed is a parallel result, not the cause of what happened. It's also slightly more than rim speed because the tires have a larger radius than the rims but that's getting into semantics.

I love how the second they heard "Power skid the whole way" they both looked excited. Although one dude said he was going to gap the other guy right after they spent a whole race warming up that Mustangs tires with a long burnout and then a roll race. lol
