I bought a g t o back in . 06 brand new out of the showroom. I still have it it's. It's been in the garage ever since. I drive it on special occasions. I haven't modified it and jjunckedd it up. It's all stock 90%. Put an A cat back. System on And the K&N LOW restriction filter, that's it.
Damn... i would assume the charger is closer to 800whp or 850. And gto closer to 1000... but that gto is 700lbs lighter so this makes sense. Good runs that gto is a Beast
Kinda makes sense the gearing seems to be better in the gto while the gto is modded more heavily having cam intake heads and a procharger the hellcat only had pulley work on a less efficient twin screw with shit gearing and a heavier nose in a roll race with e85 and intake. The hellcat is not a roll racing car where it shines it out of the hole from a dig at a track but if rear gears are not changed to atleast a 309 in an auto they are sluggish. I belive the gto is atleast as heavy as the hellcat and made 70 more hp but more efficiently.
The Hellcat is evidence to why Built > Bought HEMI V8s are only built to handle whatever power they already make, and the Charger/Challenger are way too big & heavy to the point they suffer horrendous parasitic loss. (Hellcats make ~600hp wheel)
